I’ve been seriously impressed with Glen Powell lately – he’s really becoming a major leading man. He blew up with Top Gun: Maverick, then proved he could do rom-coms with Anyone But You, and he’s jumping into action with Twisters and even Edgar Wright’s The Running Man remake. Now, I’m hearing he’s in talks to star in a new sci-fi film called Tesseract from Sam Esmail, the creator of Mr. Robot – awesome! It’s landing at Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists, and it sounds like things are moving fast. He’s definitely one to watch!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, details about the upcoming film Tesseract are still limited. However, two more main characters – both women – haven’t been cast yet, but are expected to be announced soon. Filming is planned for the summer in London and Hungary, assuming the project is officially approved, which currently seems likely. Actor Powell is not only starring in the film, but will also be producing it alongside his Barnstorm Productions partner, Dan Cohen.
