Shonda Rhimes made the premiere of her new Bridgerton season a family affair, sharing photos with all three of her daughters while in Paris.
The 56-year-old television executive is generally private about her personal life, but she chose to share this occasion at the Palais Brongniart with the public.
She happily showed off her three daughters: Harper, 22, and Emerson, 12, who she adopted, and 11-year-old Beckett, who was born through surrogacy.
At the recent Bridgerton premiere, the show’s creator wore a stunning silver dress with delicate folds and a dramatic, oversized cape that looked inspired by 1980s fashion.
She wore a fitted waist to highlight her slimmer figure, a result of losing over 100 pounds ten years ago for health reasons.
With her hair styled in soft, flowing waves and a touch of makeup to highlight her radiant skin, she arrived on the red carpet to promote her popular show.

Shonda Rhimes has never been married and has raised her children as a single parent. However, she recently shared that she’s beginning to reconsider her feelings about marriage.
I never really pictured myself getting married, but I always knew I wanted to be a mom,” she shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
She explained that she strongly believes in being independent and self-reliant, and that a past engagement had made her feel trapped and overwhelmed.
Rhimes noticed something surprising: people seemed more excited about her engagement than about her career successes or the birth of her children. This realization really made her think.
I told people I’d won a Peabody Award, but they didn’t seem interested. They were more excited about the fact that someone wanted to marry me, Rhimes remembered.
The idea that people would judge my worth based on that felt like a personal attack, really challenging who I thought I was. Looking back, I realize it was probably because I wasn’t confident in myself at the time,” the creator of Scandal explained.
Now, she feels truly at peace with herself – comfortable with both her achievements and shortcomings, and confident in who she is as a woman.
She’s now totally okay with me finding someone, falling in love, and getting married. She doesn’t worry anymore that being in a relationship will change who I am or force me to give up my dreams and career goals.

Ten years ago, Shonda Rhimes revealed that wanting to be healthier for her daughters was a major reason she lost 117 pounds.
As a mom to young children, I honestly used to worry about not being around to see them grow up. I shared with Robin Roberts in a recent interview that I’d had real fears about my health and what the next decade might hold.
I felt awful, to the point where I couldn’t even do simple things with my child, like give him a piggyback ride – something I should have been able to do easily.
She described a deeply meaningful moment when she was finally able to play actively with her daughter after losing weight. ‘It was a moment of such relief and realization that I’ll never forget it,’ she explained.
Honestly, just remembering that moment gets me! It was like, seeing her genuinely happy and knowing I had something to do with it… it was incredible. She said it felt like she was finally herself again, and it was like, I felt myself again too, you know? It was just… perfect.
