Ne-Yo reveals his Valentine’s Day plans with his three girlfriends

Starting in 2024, Ne-Yo was in a relationship with three women – Arielle Hill, Cristina, and Moneii – practicing a polyamorous lifestyle. He has since ended his relationship with a fourth woman, Bri.

The 46-year-old R&B singer shared a preview of his Valentine’s Day plans – which involve his multiple partners – on Friday’s episode of the show ‘Sherri’.

As Ne-Yo (Shaffer Chimere Smith) pointed out, everyone’s different – he’s talking about three unique women with three unique personalities. So, a one-size-fits-all approach, like giving everyone red roses, just wouldn’t work.

Okay, so planning this is EVERYTHING. I’m obsessing over finding the perfect gift for each of them, something that totally gets who they are as people, you know? But when it comes to what we actually do – where we go, the concert, whatever – I want it to be a group decision. We all go somewhere together, like one amazing restaurant, or to a show, and then… the gifts! Everyone gets their special thing, and honestly, seeing them happy is the best feeling ever. It just has to be perfect!

After Sherri Shepherd suggested something seemed too much effort, the Grammy-winning artist quickly replied that she’s never shied away from a challenge or hard work.

Ne-Yo and Cristina have been together since 2022, and he remembers telling her about his past relationships with other women.

The singer said they were happy to collaborate if it worked out, but understood if it didn’t. They emphasized letting the other person or people make the final decision.

Everyone decided to stay together. The key is that I’m not dating three people separately – it’s one relationship shared between four of us. We work things out as we go, making sure everyone gets both individual attention and quality time together as a group. Both are equally important.

Ne-Yo responded to a question about his girlfriends dating other people by saying they had essentially given him their loyalty. He explained that if someone gives exclusivity to him, it’s his to keep, and they shouldn’t share it with anyone else – a statement many found hypocritical.

After a difficult divorce from his wife, Crystal Renay, in 2023 following six years of marriage, the singer—who was born in Arkansas and grew up in Nevada—promised he would never deceive another woman again.

Ne-Yo and his wife, who runs NudeLuxeRx Skincare, have three children together: a 9-year-old son named Shaffer, a 7-year-old son named Roman, and a 4-year-old daughter named Isabella.

Crystal alleges that the actor from the BMF series has two sons, born in 2021 and 2023, with social media personality Sade Jenea Bagnerise.

Ne-Yo has two teenage children – a 15-year-old daughter named Madilyn and a 14-year-old son named Mason – with his former partner, Monyetta Shaw-Carter.

The contestant on Celebrity Family Feud is currently performing as Davis in the Broadway show Hell’s Kitchen. The show runs at the Shubert Theatre in Manhattan through January 25th.

Ne-Yo was nominated for Favorite New Broadway Star at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, an award chosen by fans. The awards show will air live on Fox on March 26th.

Before that, the artist behind “I Don’t Need That” will be performing on February 16th at the Carvalheira na Ladeira festival in Olinda, Brazil.

Ne-Yo has sold an estimated 20 million records globally and attracts 44 million listeners each month on Spotify.
