Hollywood icon, 80, now completely unrecognizable with age-defying new look

She is without a doubt a true Hollywood legend.

Growing up in Beverly Hills, she married a leading television producer at age 23 and supported him throughout his successful, decades-long career.

Now eighty years old, she’s thriving in a new phase of life, balancing her roles as a social butterfly, a generous supporter of charities, and a loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren.

Candy Spelling is the widow of television producer Aaron Spelling and the mother of actress Tori Spelling.

You know, it’s so funny! Even some of my most dedicated followers were doing a double-take when they saw Candy on the cover of Westlake Malibu Lifestyle. Apparently, the shoot was a bit of a transformation, and they almost didn’t realize it was her!

Candy’s long blonde hair and remarkably young-looking skin often led people to mistake her for someone much younger, even celebrities half her age.

‘Is Candy in the room with us? It looks like Trisha Paytas,’ commented one.

‘I thought this was the gorgeous queen of Potomac, Gizelle Bryant,’ wrote another.

A third added, ‘Khloe Kardashian looks incredible.’

Candy recently shared with a magazine that she had a difficult time rediscovering who she was after her husband, Aaron, passed away in 2006.

For nearly forty years, my focus was on raising our two children, making our house a welcoming home, and providing a supportive environment so Aaron could pursue his career in the challenging world of Hollywood.

Losing Aaron felt like losing more than just my husband; he was such a powerful presence that his death completely changed my life and the lives of our family.

‘For the first time in 38 years, I had to learn to function in the big, scary world on my own.’

After Aaron’s passing, Candy reinvented herself as a successful Broadway producer.

She won a Tony Award for her work on the 2016 production of The Color Purple, featuring performances by Cynthia Erivo and Jennifer Hudson.

Candy and her daughter, Tori, haven’t always had a close relationship, but they’ve been reconnecting since Tori’s separation from her husband, Dean McDermott, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

Candy told TMZ she loves and fully supports her daughter, no matter what she chooses to do.

She also offered to financially help Tori’s daughter if she ever needed it.

Tori and Dean decided in November to work together to pay off their debts, which include $1.7 million in unpaid taxes.

Us Weekly reports that the former couple privately agreed on a settlement focused on the best interests of their children.

Tori, age 52, and Dean, 58, have both agreed not to request financial support from each other, as stated in documents filed with the court on November 3rd.

The ex-couple have agreed that neither will pay child support, and they will share custody of their five children: Liam (18), Stella (17), Hattie (14), Finn (13), and Beau (8).

Tori is currently taking some time out of the spotlight due to a mystery illness.

She had to cancel a live show in Las Vegas last December because she wasn’t feeling well. Since then, Denise Richards and Brian Austin Green have been filling in as hosts on her podcast, Miss Spelling.
