After a nearly three-year, highly publicized breakup, Ariana Madix and her ex, Tom Sandoval, have reached a legal agreement regarding their $2 million Los Angeles home.
The TV personality, age 40, initially sued Sandoval in January 2024. The lawsuit centered around selling the house they shared before their split, which occurred after news of his infidelity became public.
She wanted to sell the property she and her ex-boyfriend had bought in 2019 and split the profits with him. He is 43 years old.
According to documents obtained by The Daily Mail, Ariana Madix and her ex have reached a tentative agreement in their legal proceedings. A notice filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday by Madix’s representatives confirmed the conditional settlement.
Whether the case will be dismissed depends on fulfilling certain requirements, but those details haven’t been released yet.
Okay, so I’ve been following this closely, and apparently there’s one last hearing on February 5th to finalize everything. But honestly? If Ariana and Tom don’t fully agree on the details, it’s heading to trial! And get this – the trial is scheduled for February 17th. In January 2024, Madix initially sued her former partner regarding the $2 million house they purchased together while they were in a relationship in the San Fernando Valley.
Documents obtained by The Daily Mail also revealed that the former couple disagreed about what to do with the property.
Madix requested that a court order the sale of the house, with the proceeds being divided between them.
She didn’t want to simply split the property so they each still owned a part, as that could lead to one of them selling their share to someone else.
Just a few weeks after the request was made, her ex refused it, stating that Madix hadn’t provided enough evidence to support a legal claim against him.
He wanted to keep the house and said he offered his former girlfriend $3.1 million in cash for it, but she refused.
Later that year, Sandoval stated that he and Madix had both agreed to sell the house they used to live in together.
Even after the scandal—where a ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star cheated on their partner with a co-star—the couple continued to live together for a short time.
He announced on his ‘Everybody Loves Tom’ podcast in October 2024 that they were putting the house up for sale and preparing it for the market.
Madix also explained to People at the time the lawsuit drama began, ‘I own the house.
I felt a strong sense of urgency to recover the money I invested in the house. Once I do, I can move forward with new investments and no longer be burdened by that property.
After news of his affair became public, Madix and Sandoval’s nine-year relationship ended dramatically.
The fallout from the situation was shown on episodes of the Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules, though the show now features a completely different group of people.
Ariana Madix has bought a house in Hollywood Hills for $1.6 million and has moved in.
She’s found love again with Daniel Wai, not long after ending her relationship with Sandoval.

He also commented on how his girlfriend’s mother is a big fan of reality television.
It’s been really nice getting to know her. I appreciate that she’s not obsessed with reality TV, unlike her mom. It’s just a really good thing.
The celebrity shared that it’s been wonderful to have someone who accepts them for who they are.
Sandoval hinted that he and Ariana might move in together, saying they’ve been looking at places and are close to finding one. He clarified that Ariana currently lives separately but they’re hoping to share a home soon.
He hinted to The Daily Mail that a significant milestone in their relationship is likely coming up soon, saying, ‘I think that’s happening soon.’
Honestly, what I loved most about what Sandoval shared was how he talked about simply enjoying each other’s company and strengthening their bond. It felt really genuine and sweet to hear him say they prioritized that time together.
