Lydia Bright looked amazing in a revealing swimsuit while sharing that she’s been stuck on an island in Africa for several days.
The 34-year-old former star of The Only Way Is Essex shared photos on Instagram Wednesday from her luxurious family vacation in Zanzibar.
Lydia traveled with her daughter, Loretta Rose, who is four years old, along with her mother Debbie, Debbie’s husband Dave, Lydia’s sister Romana (a social media influencer), brother Freddie, and Freddie’s partner, Lucy Burgess.
The reality star showed off her toned abs in a striking mirror selfie. She wore a black Melissa Odabash swimsuit with multiple cut-outs.
Lydia was spotted at the beach with her daughter, Loretta Rose, drawing in the sand while wearing a swimsuit.
Lydia shared that she unexpectedly found herself stranded on the island, extending their Zanzibar trip beyond its original plan. She didn’t specify how she became stranded.

Just moments later, Lydia was all smiles, posing in front of a treehouse villa while wearing a flowing, leopard-print beach dress, also by Melissa Odabash.
She playfully called it ‘the best fake birthday ever!’ and shared that she’ll be 35 next week. She’s scheduled to be on a work trip, but is hoping her flight isn’t canceled – it’s already been canceled twice, and she’s feeling a bit unlucky with the airline.
We were supposed to be back home earlier this week, but things don’t always go as planned, and that’s okay – it creates new experiences. I wanted to surprise my baby by pretending I was home for my birthday, so we acted like I’d already returned a bit sooner than expected.
I spent a perfect day barefoot on my favorite Zanzibar beach, capped off with dinner at the famous Rock Restaurant. I’m stuck on the island right now, but honestly, it’s a pretty great place to be stranded!
This news follows shortly after her mother, Debbie, displayed her fit physique in a black bikini while on their luxurious vacation.
The former reality TV star, 64, posed up a storm on the beach in the flattering two piece swimwear.
The actress, who has fostered over 200 children during her three decades as a caregiver, enjoyed a relaxing break on her recent trip.
Debbie shared photos from her trip and wrote a heartfelt message: ‘Zanzibar will always be special to me, reminding me to appreciate all the good things in life.’

As we drove away from Nungwi, I glanced back while getting into the taxi that would take us to Seronera, our next stop. We were heading to the Serengeti, world-renowned for its incredible wildlife and, of course, the Great Migration.
Looking back at the hotel – honestly, it was more like a hostel – the lack of water and frequent power outages seemed awful when we first arrived tired, but now it just adds to the unique, slightly crazy vibe of this place.
I just don’t get it when people travel and stick to fancy hotels! Why go somewhere new and not fully experience everything it has to offer? For me, it’s about immersing myself in the place, not just staying in a comfortable bubble.
Everywhere you go, you’ll encounter both positive and negative experiences. But I can assure you that most of the people we met were friendly, helpful, and generous with their time.
I really loved how natural and untouched this place felt. It’s still quite pristine, so I recommend visiting before it changes with lots of hotels being built along the beach. It’s sad to say goodbye, but every trip must come to an end.
Honestly, their music just gets me. It’s been the soundtrack to everything – the happiest moments where we’re all laughing together, and even when we’re a little down, it just…hits different. And the beat! You can’t help but move, seriously, every single song makes you want to dance like nobody’s watching. It’s like they bottled pure joy and put it in a song, and when it plays, I feel truly alive again. It’s more than just music, it’s a feeling!

Debbie first appeared on TV almost 15 years ago as the mother of reality star Lydia on The Only Way Is Essex. She quickly became a fan favorite, known for being a warm and supportive mom on the show.
Debbie hasn’t shared much about her fostering work online, but she’s always been enthusiastic about it. She does acknowledge, however, that the job comes with its challenges.
Honestly, it just breaks my heart when she talks about fostering. She told the Daily Mail a while back how incredibly tough it is to say goodbye to the little ones, especially when you’ve had them from just a week old, or even a year or eighteen months! She says you have to constantly remind yourself that you’re only a part of their story, and it’s just… so selfless. I can’t even imagine how hard that must be, giving up a baby you’ve cared for. It’s beautiful and devastating all at once, and it makes me admire her even more.
Certain behaviors can be really challenging to change. It’s often easier to teach someone something new than to help them break old habits. If a child doesn’t receive intervention until they’re older, around age ten, it can be difficult – sometimes impossible – to help them change ingrained patterns.
Every child faces challenges, and those experiences, however hard, are essential for them to grow into the person they are meant to be.
