‘The Bluff’ Trailer Reveals Pirate Action Thriller Starring Karl Urban &

Karl Urban, known for The Boys, and Priyanka Chopra, from Heads of State, face off with swords in the first trailer for their new pirate action movie, The Bluff. The film, coming to streaming next month, follows a former pirate who must fight to protect her family and home when her dangerous past catches up to her. The trailer makes it clear the movie is packed with intense, R-rated action and violence.

Prime Video has released the official trailer for The Bluff, which is set to premiere on the streamer on February 25. As the footage reveals, the film follows former pirate Ercell Bodden (Priyanka Chopra), previously named “Bloody Mary,” protecting her home against Captain Connor (Karl Urban), who seeks revenge against the traitor who left his crew with riches. Their complicated, violent past comes back in explosive ways, leading to an all-out brawl on the Cayman Islands. Frank E. Flowers directed The Bluff and co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Ballarini. Flowers’ previous work includes the short film Shallow, the feature Haven, and contributing to the script for Bob Marley: One Love. Ballarini’s credits include My Little Pony: The Movie and A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting. The film was produced by Anthony and Joe Russo (known for directing Avengers: Doomsday), along with Angela Russo-Otstot, through their production company, AGBO.
