A new game is coming for the popular Konosuba series! Officially titled KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City!, it was announced during the series’ 10th anniversary livestream and is scheduled to release on mobile and PC in Japan in 2026.

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (often shortened to KonoSuba) is a very popular series of Japanese light novels by Natsume Akatsuki, with illustrations by Kurone Mishima. It’s about Kazuma Satou, a boy who finds himself in a fantasy world that works a lot like a role-playing game.

The Konosuba series has expanded into several games, including a mobile title called Konosuba Fantastic Days. Launched in 2020, the game operated for about five years before it was discontinued on January 30, 2025. After the game shuts down, developers plan to release five apps that won’t require an internet connection.

The game’s genre is still a secret, but considering the history of the series and the fact that it’s the 10th anniversary, it’s likely to be a role-playing game, a narrative-focused visual novel, or a simulation game – especially since the title suggests players will be building a city.
