Helena Bonham Carter puts on a striking display in a floral gown as she joins glamorous co-star Mia McKenna-Bruce at The Seven Dials Mystery premiere

Helena Bonham Carter looked stunning in a floral dress at the premiere of The Seven Dials Mystery, where she was joined by her co-star, Mia McKenna-Bruce.

This thrilling three-part series is based on Agatha Christie’s 1929 novel. Mia plays Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent, who investigates a mysterious murder.

She’s joined in this thrilling mystery by acting legend Helena as her mother, Lady Caterham, and Martin Freeman as Superintendent Battle.

Stepping out for the premiere in London on Tuesday, Helena, 59, showed off her ageless beauty.

Helena was wearing a delicate, sheer midi-dress with a black and pink floral lace pattern. It had a high neckline, a bejeweled belt, and a layered, tiered skirt.

She completed her look with thick, black, tan, and white patent leather loafers, styled her dark hair in tight curls, and added a pop of color with bright red lipstick.

Oh my gosh, did you SEE Mia? Seriously, Mia, the star of ‘How To Have Sex,’ she just looked absolutely incredible at the BAFTAs! She won the EE BAFTA Rising Star Award this year, which she SO deserved, and she was wearing this stunning black velvet dress… it was fitted everywhere, like, perfectly! I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She’s just… wow.

The actress wore a strapless dress with delicate lace detailing at the top and gathered fabric. She completed the look with a soft feather boa draped around her shoulders.

Mia took photos with Corey Mylchreest, the actor who plays Gerry Wade in the Netflix series based on Agatha Christie and also stars in ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,’ while on the red carpet.

Corey wore a completely black outfit: a fitted blazer, a t-shirt, and high-waisted pants. He also had a full beard.

Also in attendance was Sherlock star Martin, who plays Superintendent Battle.

Oh my goodness, did you see Martin? He was absolutely stunning! He wore this incredible navy suit – a real pinstripe number, and it was double-breasted, which just… wow. And the tie! It had this amazing pattern, and he finished the whole look off with the most gorgeous brown suede loafers. Seriously, he looked like a dream!

Edward Bluemel, one of the actors in the show, played Jimmy Thesiger and was seen wearing a noticeable navy blue cape coat paired with a light blue shirt and black pants.

Lady Amelia Windsor, a model and 44th in line to the British throne, looked glamorous at a recent event.

Amelia’s outfit included a black, ruffled tulle dress with polka dots, cinched at the waist with a slim belt, and paired with chunky boots.

Let me set the scene for you – the story kicks off at a glamorous masquerade ball, straight out of the 1920s! We’re immediately introduced to Gerry Wade, a really charming guy, who’s completely swept off his feet by a woman named Bundle. They’re dancing, flirting – it’s all very romantic! Just when you think he’s about to pop the question, something interrupts them, leaving you hanging and wanting to know what happens next!

The next morning, Lady Caterham was woken up and annoyed by a loud, jarring chorus of alarm clocks going off in Gerry’s room.

Bundle was horrified to discover her fiancé dead in his bed. She found him surrounded by an unusual display: seven clocks neatly arranged on the mantelpiece.

After Gerry’s passing, I was absolutely devastated, but I quickly realized I needed to channel that pain into something productive. It’s been incredibly difficult, but I’ve made a promise to my mother, and to myself, that I won’t find peace until I uncover the truth about what happened to him. I’m determined to find out exactly what went on and won’t rest until I have answers. It’s a tough journey, but I owe it to Gerry to see it through.

As she started investigating the mystery surrounding ‘the Seven Dials’, her friends Ronnie Devereux and Jimmy Thesiger repeatedly warned her to stop. She also received similar warnings from Battle, a police superintendent at Scotland Yard who was already working on the case.

Ronnie cautioned against sharing this information with just anyone, and Battle agreed, emphasizing the serious danger involved.

Despite the warnings, Bundle continued her determined investigation, wanting to understand everything. Lady Caterham cautioned her, saying that those who seek out problems often encounter them.

The trailer hints at upcoming conflict, with quick shots of a shooting, a person in a mask, Bundle crying over someone covered in blood, and then falling out of a window.

Despite the difficulties, she insists she won’t rest until Gerry’s killer is found, declaring, “I will keep searching for the truth, no matter what.”

Chris Chibnall, the creator of Broadchurch, has updated this classic mystery for today’s viewers. Chris Sweeney directed the series and also served as an executive producer.

Mia explained to Tudum that a key goal in adapting the story was to make it enjoyable for both new and existing Agatha Christie fans. She believes they successfully balanced appealing to a wider audience while staying true to the spirit of Christie’s classic murder mysteries.

She also described how her character, Bundle, challenged the typical expectations for women of the upper class during the 1920s.

Netflix will release all three parts of Agatha Christie’s ‘Seven Dials’ on Thursday, January 15th.

As a lifelong Agatha Christie fan, I’m thrilled to see another one of her brilliant stories brought to life on TV! It seems like just yesterday we were captivated by the BBC’s versions of classics like ‘Witness For The Prosecution’ and ‘And Then There Were None,’ and then last year’s ‘Towards Zero.’ Now, we have a fresh adaptation, and I can’t wait to dive in!
