Proud parents Andy Serkis and wife Lorraine Ashbourne support son Louis, 21, at premiere of his new film 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple

Andy Serkis beamed with pride as he and his wife, Lorraine Ashbourne, accompanied their son, Louis Ashbourne Serkis, at the premiere of “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” in Waterloo, London on Tuesday.

The 61-year-old actor happily posed with his 21-year-old son, who stars as a character named Tom in the newest installment of the 28 Days Later series.

Andy looked relaxed and stylish on the red carpet, sporting a blue patterned bomber jacket with dark chinos.

Louis wore a maroon shirt and trousers, paired with a black T-shirt and a silver necklace.

Lorraine, age 65, was wearing a black dress with a green and black houndstooth jacket and shoes.

Andy and Lorraine have been married for over two decades, since 2001. They have two grown children: Ruby, age 28, and Sonny, age 26, as well as a son named Louis.

Louis made his first film appearance in 2012’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, a movie that also marked his father’s return to the role of Gollum.

Landing the part of ‘Cute Young Hobbit’ was how this successful career in the family business really began.

In 2018, he played the young wolf, Bhoot, in the movie Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, which was directed by and also starred his father.

He went on to play the main character in the 2019 movie, The Kid Who Would Be King, alongside Sir Patrick Stewart and Rebecca Ferguson.

He appeared with Anya Taylor-Joy in the popular Netflix series, The Queen’s Gambit, and recently played the son of Martin Clunes’ character in ITV’s Out There, portraying a troubled teenager.

Louis’s sister, Ruby, is an actress who’s popular for her role in the Netflix series The Letter for the King. His brother, Sonny, has also tried his hand at acting.

Louis explained to The Mirror earlier this year that he was never required to participate in their activities, and they never pressured him into doing anything. He said, ‘They never told me what to do.’

‘But I love it, I have always loved entertaining and bringing joy through that.

As a lifestyle expert, I always say: if you have a chance to share your story and potentially inspire others, absolutely go for it! It’s a powerful thing to be able to connect with people and make a positive impact, so don’t hesitate – take that opportunity.

‘I was young and in a way stumbled into acting, and tried it when I was around seven or eight.’

Louis is in a relationship with British equestrian-turned-stuntwoman Amelia Haynes.
