Louise Thompson flashes her abs in a sports bra as she says a ‘quick prayer’ while waiting for next update in ‘unpredictable’ fertility journey

Louise Thompson shared a photo on Instagram Monday, highlighting her toned physique and abs.

The 35-year-old, known for appearing on Made In Chelsea, showed off her fit physique in a grey Calvin Klein sports bra and leggings, posting a selfie to her 1.5 million followers.

She shared an update about trying to get pregnant, writing, ‘Good morning everyone, today’s the day! It’s amazing – and a little nerve-wracking – how uncertain this process can be. I’m hoping for the best!’

In the next image she shared a picture of a small bible as she said a ‘quick prayer’.

Louise has shared her desire to try for another baby around 2026. This comes four years after a difficult birth experience with her son, Leo, and her first step will be to freeze her eggs.

In a recent blog post, she shared her plans to try for another baby in 2026, even with ongoing health challenges.

Louise explained that because she still has her ovaries, she retains the potential for fertility and is exploring options to retrieve eggs.

In 2021, a mother almost died giving birth to her son, Leo-Hunter, after an emergency C-section where she lost a significant amount of blood – twelve and a half liters.

Following her life-threatening experience, she developed PTSD and anxiety after giving birth. She has also been diagnosed with Lupus and Asherman’s syndrome, experienced another serious internal bleed, and now relies on a stoma bag.

Louise revealed on her blog that she and her partner, Ryan, are hoping to have another child this year, as they both feel prepared to grow their family.

The TV star shared that she’s worried about the challenges the couple faces, especially after revealing she probably can’t have another baby because of serious health issues from her difficult first delivery.

Louise revealed she’s prepared to talk about her personal experiences, including a miscarriage she had in 2020 before the birth of her son, Leo.

She revealed her biggest wish for 2026: to have a baby. Sharing this very personal desire publicly felt a bit risky and vulnerable, especially considering the uncertainties around her and her partner’s ability to conceive.

We’re in a good position and excited to start this new phase. Today is January 4th, and it’s been two months since Leo turned four.

Getting fertility treatment is now quite common, but the biggest challenges for people often involve the emotional and financial strain it causes.

After the difficult birth of her son, Leo, Louise became emotionally withdrawn and was placed on suicide watch for her safety.

Last year, her fiancé Ryan shared the difficult details of her struggle with postpartum depression. Thankfully, she’s now feeling much more optimistic and doing better.

I’ve spent a lot of time learning about this issue, and I’m now quite knowledgeable about it. I’ll keep everyone updated on my progress.

‘I also weirdly signed up to a surrogacy Facebook forum when Leo was around two years old.

Many of my friends were having babies or were expecting, and it was a difficult period for me personally.

Looking back, this was a really big undertaking, but I approached it with curiosity and hope. I only managed to stay for about 20 minutes, and it was quite frightening. My progress has been very slow, similar to my recovery – I take small steps forward when I have the strength to do so.
