Disgraced ex-Sky Sports anchor Richard Keys smirks while leaving Claridge’s with Eamonn Holmes as he breaks cover for first time since reigniting 30-year feud with Gabby Logan over crass ‘tribute’ to her late father Terry Yorath

Richard Keys didn’t seem bothered by the recent backlash as he was seen with Eamonn Holmes at Claridge’s on Tuesday.

A former Sky Sports presenter caused a backlash online after a post honoring footballer Terry Yorath seemed to contain a subtle dig at his daughter, TV personality Gabby Logan.

After having lunch at a Mayfair location, 68-year-old Keys emerged with a visibly frail-looking Holmes, smiling widely at onlookers as they headed to a car.

Eamonn Holmes was helped out of the building by staff, holding onto his wheelchair for stability, as he was joined by a larger group of people.

Keys and Logan have a famously difficult relationship. In her 2022 memoir, Logan made several unpleasant claims about Keys.

The commentator, now working with his friend Andy Gray at beIN Sports in the Middle East, later said he would sue.

According to excerpts from her memoir, Logan described a conversation between Keys and Gray that took place on a flight to Istanbul before the 2005 Champions League final featuring Liverpool and AC Milan.

She described being very pregnant with twins, feeling so large that she joked she looked like she’d swallowed a bouncy ball.

Richard, loud enough for me and other passengers in our section to hear, suddenly asked, “Andy, what are your thoughts on pregnant women?”

Richard, I have to be honest, I wasn’t attracted to her. And, to be clear, I didn’t have a physical relationship with my wife while she was pregnant.

She admitted feeling embarrassed and thought their remarks were particularly harsh, especially considering they themselves were husbands and fathers.

‘Keys and Gray were dinosaurs, waiting to become extinct.’

Keys rejected many of her accusations, calling them untrue – specifically, he denied being fired by Sky Sports in 2011 for sexist behavior towards lineswoman Sian Massey.

Terry Yorath, a well-known former footballer and manager who played for Leeds United, Coventry City, and Tottenham Hotspur, passed away on January 7th at the age of 75 after a brief illness.

He shared a heartfelt message about the passing of Terry Yorath with his followers, describing him as a tenacious player who was loved by fans at every club he played for. He fondly remembered Yorath’s time at Coventry and credited him with helping secure a job at Sky for someone named Gabby.

‘I had no idea who she was when we met but I knew her dad. RIP Terry. Your daughter did you proud.’
