Delta Goodrem is all smiles as she reveals major news following marriage to Matt Copley: ‘It’s an incredible feeling’

Delta Goodrem is happier and more at peace in her life now that she’s married to Matt Copley, following their wedding in Malta.

She expressed her gratitude for the strong support system she has, speaking to Daily Mail while being announced as an ambassador for Piper-Heidsieck before the Australian Open.

We’re incredibly happy to be married and share our love with each other. It feels amazing to start this new chapter with so much love and support.

Delta shared that her current happiness is inspiring her new music, and she’s already working on an album.

She explained that after working on the album for several years, she’s excited to finally release it to the public.

She hinted the upcoming record will be her most joyful yet.

She explained that it’s a time for celebrating life and embracing who you truly are, all while choosing to act with kindness and love.

The former Neighbours star is also keen to return to her acting roots. 

‘I’ve definitely been working on a couple of projects,’ she said.

Delta married the love of her life in June 2025. 

The bride looked radiant in her wedding dress, an off-the-shoulder gown with a flattering sweetheart neckline. It was designed by South Australian designer Paul Vasileff.

The French tulle gown featured gorgeous lattice detailing and a two-and-a-half-metre train.

Delta revealed to Vogue that her husband wore a complete Tom Ford outfit. To make their wedding day even more special, she chose not to see him the night before their ceremony.

She said seeing Matt for the first time in the aisle was a special moment, because they had both followed a tradition of not seeing each other the night before.

Delta and Mathew got married at St Paul’s Cathedral, a historic building in Mdina that dates back to the 12th century.

Oh my gosh, the after-party was at Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar! It’s this absolutely stunning palace, built way back in the 1700s, and the gardens… seriously, the gardens were like something out of a dream. I could have spent all night just wandering around there!

It felt like a dream come true,” Delta shared with Vogue. “Spending the day and the entire week with everyone was even better than we could have imagined.

Delta is thrilled to be the new face of Piper-Heidsieck champagne. The singer feels a strong connection to the brand because of its long history of supporting the arts, making the collaboration feel meant to be.
