Kylie Jenner stood out as the brightest star at Sunday’s Golden Globes, which was full of famous faces.
Okay, so I was at the event, and honestly, everyone was losing their minds over her. I mean, the nominees were great and all, but she and Timothée totally stole the show! It was insane – celebrities were literally lining up to get pictures with her. Forget the awards, she was the real star of the night, I swear!
Timothée Chalamet, 30, won Best Actor at the awards show, but his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, 28, was the center of attention at their table. Stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Ariana Grande stopped by to chat with her.
Kylie was so well-liked that she felt relaxed enough to let her guard down, cheerfully posing for silly pictures and trading her usual serious expression for a bright, genuine smile.
This was a stark contrast to Kylie’s experience at award shows last year, where she was largely ignored and unwelcome.
The woman, a mother of two, felt abandoned after backing Timothée in 2025, when he was promoting his film, A Complete Unknown, at various awards shows.

A particularly uncomfortable situation occurred last year at the 2025 Golden Globes when Demi Moore seemingly ignored her.
The 63-year-old actress won Best Actress for her role in The Substance. After accepting the award, she walked over to Kylie and Timothée’s table, where his co-stars from A Complete Unknown were also seated.
Demi seemed cheerful while talking with Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, but she appeared to ignore Kylie when Kylie tried to join their conversation.
Kylie swiveled around and said ‘congrats!’ to Demi, who quickly replied ‘thanks’ and went back to talking with Elle.
Kylie, having recently paid tribute to Demi by dressing as her from the movie Striptease for Halloween, appeared upset when she realized she wouldn’t be part of the conversation and quickly turned away.
To add to the awkwardness, Demi completely ignored Kylie and went straight to talking to her boyfriend, Timothée, who sincerely congratulated her.
The awkward moment rapidly spread across social media, and TikTok users were quick to react and comment on the embarrassing interaction.
Kylie was also subject to ridicule when she joined her boyfriend at the Oscars.

Timothée Chalamet was a strong favorite to win Best Actor, thanks to the impressive performance he gave as Bob Dylan, which critics loved.
Despite his efforts, he lost to Adrien Brody from The Brutalist, and some fans unfairly blamed Kylie for the outcome.
People blamed his downfall on the so-called ‘Kardashian curse’ – a popular internet idea that any man who dates a Kardashian or Jenner sister will experience bad luck or a decline in his career.
I was really disappointed to hear about the criticism Kylie received after the ceremony. A lot of people said she was being rude to Sir Elton John, and honestly, it just didn’t sit right with me. I’m a big fan of both of them, and it’s upsetting to see that kind of talk.
A video of Timothée Chalamet introducing Kylie Jenner to 78-year-old Elton John quickly spread online. Many people criticized Jenner for not standing up to greet John, who politely kissed her outstretched hand.
At the 2024 Golden Globes, Kylie sparked some buzz when cameras seemed to catch Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift talking about her and Timothée Chalamet.
A video captured Taylor and Selena engaged in a lively conversation with Keleigh Sperry, Miles Teller’s wife, while at their table.
Forensic lipreader Jeremy Freeman shared a conversation he analyzed for the Daily Mail, claiming Selena Gomez was turned down for a photo with Timothée Chalamet and worried that asking would bother both him and Kylie Jenner.

Jeremy reported that Selena mentioned someone didn’t want to take a photo with her, saying he refused. Keleigh then asked if that someone was Timothée.
Taylor leaned in and whispered something to Selena, reportedly saying, ‘I tried, but I couldn’t make it happen – it would just upset people.’
Selena and Timothée starred as a couple in the 2018 Woody Allen movie, A Rainy Day in New York.
Now, however, it seems Kylie has been accepted into the Hollywood fold.
It’s not only her recent rise to fame that’s worth noting. Timothée is now the frontrunner to win the Best Actor Oscar, especially after taking home a Golden Globe for his role in Marty Supreme.
Timothée Chalamet won the role of One Battle After Another, beating out strong competition including Leonardo DiCaprio. Other actors considered for the part were George Clooney, Ethan Hawke, Lee Byung-Hun, and Jesse Plemons.
Leading up to the awards season, Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, was expected to win the Oscar, but now Timothée Chalamet is the clear frontrunner, according to predictions from the Kalshi exchange.
Despite initial doubts, Leonardo DiCaprio’s film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, ultimately won Best Picture – Comedy or Musical on Sunday night. It beat out Timothée Chalamet’s film, as well as several others including Blue Moon, Bugonia, No Other Choice, and Nouvelle Vague.
Kylie seemed incredibly proud watching Timothée win his award, but people noticed he hardly mentioned her when he gave his acceptance speech.
He spoke passionately about Kylie in his speech at the Critics Choice Awards earlier this month, but took a different approach in his speech on Sunday.
He concluded the speech suddenly with a quick mention of Kylie, then finished by saying, “To my parents and partner, I love you. Thank you so much.”
