Michael Jackson’s son Blanket makes rare public outing with girlfriend amid drama over late star’s estate

Michael Jackson’s son, known as Bigi, was spotted having dinner with his girlfriend at The Oaks Gourmet Market & Coffee on Monday. This comes as other family members continue to disagree with those managing his father’s estate.

Bigi, who will be 24 next month, was dressed casually for the day with a Darth Vader t-shirt, white shorts, and black sneakers. His long, black hair was parted in the middle.

Bigi’s friend, a woman, was wearing all black: a sleeveless top, leggings, and sunglasses. Her dark hair was loose and flowing.

It wasn’t immediately known who Bigi was with, as he generally prefers to keep his personal life private. Bigi’s older brother, Prince, age 28, revealed he was engaged to Molly Schirmang last year.

Bigi was recently photographed in public shortly after news surfaced that his sister, Paris, age 27, had begun legal proceedings in Los Angeles against those managing their father’s estate. The legal action stems from disagreements about how the estate’s finances are being handled.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives and lawyers for both the estate and Paris Hilton for additional information regarding this story.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles late last year and recently obtained by Daily Mail, Paris Jackson claims that the administrators of her father Michael Jackson’s estate, John Branca and John McClain, have personally profited significantly from his assets.

Paris stated in her legal document that the people managing the estate failed to invest a large amount of money in a way that could have generated significant profits.

According to court documents, Michael Jackson’s daughter’s lawyers claim she’s worried the administration of her father’s estate is being used by John Branca to benefit himself financially.

As someone who’s seen many estates handled, I believe the most important thing for those managing my father’s affairs right now is to truly prioritize what’s best for everyone who should benefit from his estate. And, of course, protecting his memory and what he stood for is absolutely crucial. It’s about honoring his life’s work and ensuring it continues to have meaning for years to come.

Paris made this request after a previous attempt to review how the estate’s finances were handled was unsuccessful.

As a longtime follower of this case, I was really struck by the latest claims Paris made in her legal filing. She’s alleging that the co-executors basically did nothing with over $464 million in cash the estate held – they didn’t even try to invest it properly, according to her. It’s a serious accusation, and I’m eager to see how it plays out.

Paris’s lawyers argued that the estate’s co-executors didn’t take steps to invest the large amount of money and increase the estate’s overall earnings.

Paris was also angry that the estate spent money on lawyers for various legal matters.

According to court filings, Paris stated that ten law firms received over $4.5 million in 2021 – more than any single person did that year.

Paris said that between 2009 and 2021, executors were paid a total of $148 million.

In November 2002, Michael Jackson famously held his son, Bigi, over a fourth-floor balcony in Berlin, sparking public outrage and criticism over the dangerous incident.

Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50, after a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles.

Authorities in February 2010 deemed his death as the result of acute propofol intoxication.

Jackson received a strong medication from his doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray. Investigators said Jackson referred to the drug – which was given through an IV – as ‘milk’ and explained he required it to help him sleep.

The news of Jackson’s death brought an outpouring of tributes from fans around the world, both at memorial sites and rapidly growing on social media.

Michael Jackson’s family, including his three children, attended a widely-watched memorial service for him on July 7, 2009, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (formerly Staples Center). It was the first time the public had seen Jackson’s children without masks.

At the emotional service, 11-year-old Paris shared how much she loved her father, describing him as the best a person could ask for since the day she was born.

A private funeral service for Michael Jackson’s family and close friends took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

After Michael Jackson’s death, Dr. Conrad Murray’s medical care came under investigation. Concerns arose about his decisions regarding the amount of medication he gave Jackson and whether he followed proper safety procedures when administering it.

Investigators determined that Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide. Over two years later, in November 2011, his doctor, Conrad Murray, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and given a four-year prison sentence.

Michael Jackson enjoyed an incredibly successful music career, becoming one of the best-selling artists ever. He received 13 Grammy Awards from a total of 38 nominations.

He won several awards, including Best R&B Vocal Performance for “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” in 1980, Album of the Year for Thriller in 1984, and Record of the Year for “Beat It” that same year.

I’ve always been a huge fan, so it meant so much to see him receive the Grammy Legend Award back in ’93. And even after he was gone, The Recording Academy honored his incredible legacy with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. Of course, his place in music history was cemented when he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 – it was so well-deserved!
