People who enjoyed Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror film are celebrating its wins at the Golden Globes. The movie won two awards at the 83rd annual ceremony on January 11th, including recognition for its success in theaters.

The film was a major success for Warner Bros., bringing in $368.2 million worldwide, as reported by Box Office Mojo. Beyond its financial success, it also won a Golden Globe for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, and Ludwig Göransson received the award for Best Original Score. However, after the film won at the box office, some fans online expressed disappointment, feeling like the win was a lesser recognition of the movie’s overall quality.

Despite being nominated for several awards, Barbie, featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, only won two Golden Globes – one for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. It didn’t win in any of the main competitive categories.

Even though the film Sinners was successful, there are no plans for a follow-up movie.
