Maura Higgins, known from Love Island, shared that she met Snoop Dogg at the Golden Globes on Sunday and he asked for a photo with her.
Irish model and recent star of US Celebrity Traitors, 35, unexpectedly showed up at the glamorous event held at The Beverly Hilton.
Throughout the glamorous evening, Maura chatted with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and surprisingly became friends with the iconic Snoop Dogg, age 54.
The reality star shared on Instagram that Snoop Dogg asked to take a photo with her while she was on the red carpet, creating a surprising and fun moment for both of them.
Snoop beamed and put his arm around Maura as they walked into the luxurious hotel, clearly enjoying the moment.
The TV star looked stunning in a sleek black dress with an off-the-shoulder design when she appeared at the 83rd annual event.
Maura looked like a classic Hollywood star when she added a shimmering, golden shawl that flowed from her shoulders all the way to the floor.
The reality star wore her brown bob styled in big, bouncy curls and paired it with a sparkling diamond necklace.
People were surprised to see Maura at the Hollywood event, especially as she was socializing with celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus.
Fans think this is happening because of her recent role on Celebrity Traitors US, where she’s been creating a lot of drama.

However, it was Love Island’s Maura who quickly became a fan favorite after a fiery argument during a discussion with outspoken actor Michael Rappaport, 55.

Maura totally caught Michael slipping up – he said ‘we got rid of’ when talking about the people who’d been eliminated, and OMG, she immediately called him out as a Traitor! I KNEW it! I just KNEW something was off with him, and Maura is a genius for noticing that little phrase. It’s all making sense now!
‘Why did you say, “we got rid of”? Does that mean you’re a Traitor?’ she said.
Defending himself, Michael said: ‘Let me tell you something, Maura. I’m as faithful as a faithful-‘
Interrupting him, Maura added: ‘Why did you say “we”? We didn’t – the Traitors did.’
Later, Top Chef star Kristen Kish pointed out Michael’s use of “we” again, asking him about it. Michael jokingly responded, “And I’ve said a lot of things.”
Maura then muttered: ‘Maybe just stop talking.’

Michael is most recognized for his roles as Phoebe’s boyfriend Gary on the TV show Friends, and for appearances in My Name is Earl, Justified, and Atypical.
Michael frequently appears in the news due to his strong support for Israel and his outspoken criticism of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. After Mamdani’s election, Michael publicly used highly offensive language to describe him.

Maura became famous on the fifth season of Love Island, alongside Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, and she made her first appearance on American TV in 2023.
She rejoined the Love Island franchise, taking on the role of social media presenter for both Love Island USA and Love Island Games.
Only a year after that, Maura landed the job of hosting Love Island USA: Aftersun and quickly became popular with the audience.
Maura decided to step down from her position because of conflicts in her schedule.
Despite recent events, the popular Love Island contestant stated she still plans to be involved with the show.
Maura announced she’ll be returning, playfully warning viewers not to get too comfortable with her replacement, Sophie Monk, the Australian host of Love Island.
The American version of The Traitors, hosted by Alan Cumming, has largely featured contestants who are already famous.
This is different from the UK version, where regular people have usually been the contestants, while the first celebrity edition is scheduled to launch in late 2025.
The US version of The Traitors will soon feature an all-civilian cast, a change that was revealed in August 2025.
Maura joined the show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ a bit later in 2024, along with Reverend Richard Coles.
She was joined in camp by celebrities like Coleen Rooney, Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall, dancer Oti Mabuse, and McFly’s Danny Jones, who ultimately won the competition.
After appearing on the show, Maura landed several sponsorship deals, including a lucrative six-figure contract with L’Oreal cosmetics.
