Genshin Impact Columbina Build Guide: Kits Explained
Columbina is a character who fights from the sidelines, specializing in boosting Hydro damage and a special type of reaction called Lunar. What makes her unique is her ability to turn other common reactions – like Electro-Charged, Bloom, and Hydro Crystalize – into these powerful Lunar reactions, no matter who triggers them. This makes her a versatile addition to teams that already focus on Geo, Dendro, or Electro attacks.

Columbina’s unique ability is also useful when exploring Nod Krai. If a team member falls in Nod Krai, she can revive them and fully restore their health. Her abilities mainly focus on her Elemental Skill and Burst, which we’ll break down in detail below.
Eternal Tides (Skill)
Columbina deals area-of-effect Hydro damage and creates a Gravity Ripple. This Ripple functions similarly to Mauvika Nightsoul’s burst skill. After using her skill, a Gravity Ripple appears, lasting 25 seconds. It follows the active character and continuously deals area-of-effect Hydro damage based on Columbina’s HP. Importantly, it can also trigger Lunar reactions for additional damage.
To activate Columbina’s special Lunar damage ability, you need to accumulate 60 gravity points. She gains 20 gravity points every 2 seconds whenever a teammate causes a Lunar reaction or deals Lunar damage. Then, every 6 seconds, she unleashes a powerful Lunar attack based on her total health. Because of this, it’s best to have a character who can quickly apply Dendro, Electro, or Geo effects to help build up those gravity points.
Moonlit Melancholy (Burst)
This ability creates a field called Lunar Domain that deals Hydro damage to enemies in the area. It functions similarly to Nahida’s Elemental Burst, and all teammates inside the field receive a 40% damage bonus to Lunar Reactions. The ability costs 60 energy to use and lasts for 20 seconds.
Passive Talents
Her passive talents buff her and also buffs whole team.
A1 Passive
Her first passive ability gives her a 15% chance to critically hit after completing her first turn. Additionally, dealing damage with her skill that triggers a Lunar reaction increases her critical hit rate by 5% for 10 seconds, and this bonus can stack up to three times.
A2 Passive
Characters within the Lunar Domain have a 33% chance to trigger an additional Lunar-Charged or Lunar-Crystalize attack when these reactions occur. Additionally, if your teammates activate Lunar-Bloom, your whole team receives Moonridge Dew, which provides the same benefits as Verdant Dew – effectively giving your team six units of Verdant Dew.
A3 Passive
Her ability automatically turns Electro-Charged, Bloom, and Hydro Crystalize reactions – even those caused by your teammates – into powerful Lunar Reactions.
A4 Passive
Her A4 passive increases Lunar damage by 7% based on her current HP. To achieve this 7% bonus, she needs 35,000 HP.

| Constellations | Effects |

Additionally, Lunar reactions damage will be increased by 1.5% This Constellation will provide a buff for teams. Good small QOL improvement. |

In the Lunar-Charge team, active character gain 1% ATK based on Columbina’s max HP. In the Lunar-Bloom team, active character gain 0.35% Elemental Mastery based on Columbina’s max HP. In the Lunar-Crystalize team, active character gain 1% Defence based on Columbina’s max HP. It’s her best Constellation if you want to buff your Columbina and your Nord Krai characters more, then go for it. |
| C3 | Columbina’s elemental skill level will be increased by +3. |
| C4 | Columbina will get 4 energy after each Gravity ripple. Furthermore, her C4 will increase Lunar Charge damage by 12.5%, Lunar-Bloom by 2.5%, and Lunar-Crystalize by 12.5% based on Columbinas max HP. |
| C5 | Columbina’s elemental burst level will be increased by +3. |
| C6 | Hydro, element crit damage will be increased by 80%, and other elements involved in Lunar reactions (Geo, Dendro, Electro) crit damage will be increased by 80% too. This constellation can buff Columbina and also buff the whole team. |
Columbina is already strong at her base level, dealing significant damage and providing helpful buffs to her team. Her first Constellation (C1) offers a nice boost to overall team performance, while her second (C2) enhances both team damage and her own personal damage output. Further Constellations are really geared towards players who invest heavily in the game.
Genshin Impact Columbina Build Guide: Best in-slot weapon
| Weapon | Effects |
|---|---|
| Nocturne’s Curtain Call (5*) | Her best-in-slot is her signature weapon. Her weapon passive gives 24% HP, 60% Crit Damage, and 14 energy. If you want more damage from your Columbina, then I recommend you go for the signature weapon rather than pulling her C1. |
| Sacrificial Jade R5 (4*) | When not on the field for more than 5s, Max HP will be increased by 64%, and Elemental Mastery will be increased by 80. After the wielder take field for 10s all effects will end. It’s a 4* weapon, but this weapon, R5, can surpass any 5* weapon. Columbina damage and buff both scales on HP, so 64% HP is perfect for her. |
| Jadefall Splendor (5*) | For 3 seconds, after using Burst equipping character will restore 4.5 energy every 2.5 seconds and will gain 0.3% for every 1,000 Max HP your equipping character has. We can get Maximum 12% damage bonus. |
| Prototype Amber R5 (4*) | Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 6 Energy every 2s for 6s. All party members will regenerate 6% HP every 2s for this duration. Has HP% and an energy refund on burst. It’s her best F2P weapon. If you don’t have primogems for her signature, then you should level up this craftable weapon. |
| Favonius Codex R5 (4★) | Crit Hits have 100% chance of generating 6 energy once every 6 seconds. If you use this weapon, you don’t need any energy recharge from artifacts. |
Genshin Impact Columbina Build Guide: Artifacts
| Artifacts | Effects |
|---|---|
| Aubade of Morningstar and Moon | It’s Columbinas best artifact set right now. This artifact set can buff the whole team and can also increase her personal damage. 2-Piece Set: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80. Additionally, when your team has two Nod Krai characters, Lunar Reaction DMG will be further increased by 40%. |
| Silken Moon Serenade | It’s Columbina’s second-best artifact set. Especially if you are using the Lunar-Bloom team, it can even surpass the Aubade of Morningstar and Moon artifact set in team damage output. 2-Piece Set: Energy Recharge +20% Furthermore, your team’s Lunar reaction damage will be increased by 10%. |

As for her Main Stats and Sub-Stats:
- Timepiece: ER/HP (without timepiece if your Columbina can reach 35K HP, then use ER Timepiece)

- Circlet: CD/CR
- Sub-stat: ER=HP>CD>CR>EM
Best Team Comps for Columbina in Genshin Impact
| Teams | Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Neffer Lunar-Bloom Team | Neffer | Lauma | Columbina | Nahida |
| Flins Lunar-Charged Team | Flins | Ineffa | Columbina | Sucrose |
| Zibai Lunar-Crystalize Team | Zibai | Columbina | Illuga | Aino C6/Xilonen |
Neffer Lunar-Bloom Team
The Neffers Premium team is incredibly strong, capable of dealing massive damage. It was already very powerful before, but adding Columbina has made it even better. Lauma will be our first secondary damage dealer (sub DPS), and she’ll also help the team by lowering enemies’ Dendro resistance by 25%. Nahida will be our second sub DPS, providing an EM (Elemental Mastery) boost.
Columbina will boost our team’s stats and act as our secondary damage dealer. Neffer will be the primary damage dealer for this team.
Flins Lunar-Charged Team
Columbina significantly boosts the damage of teams built around triggering Lunar-Charged reactions, especially those using two Electro characters. Previously, these teams relied solely on Aino to apply Hydro, but Columbina adds another powerful option. In this setup, Flins will be the main damage dealer, with Ineffa and Columbina providing support and dealing some damage themselves. Sucrose completes the team as a third support character.
Zibai Lunar-Crystalize Team
Zibai and Illuga aren’t available yet, but from what we know, Zibai will be a powerful damage dealer focused on Lunar-Crystalize, and Illuga will be essential to supporting them. We plan to use Columbina as a buffer, additional support, and to apply Hydro effects to the team, complementing Zibai’s abilities.

Both Aino C6 and Xilonen are excellent support characters for the Zibai team. Aino C6 increases Lunar damage by 35%, while Xilonen weakens enemies, boosts the team’s damage output, and provides healing.
Is Columbina worth pulling in Genshin Impact
Columbina is a worthwhile character to add to your Genshin Impact team. She’s a powerful support who boosts damage, and she’ll remain useful even with future updates. She specifically enhances Lunar-Charged, Lunar-Bloom, and Lunar Crystalise reactions. If you’re looking for a strong buffer for your characters from the Nation of Khaenri’ah and want to maximize your reaction damage, she’s a great choice.
