Nikki Glaser won’t be afraid to mock celebrities at the Golden Globes.

The comedian, 41, will host the awards show for the second year in a row this Sunday, and she plans to make jokes about everyone who attends.

The blonde told People: ‘Everyone is fair game. I really feel that way.

I briefly considered not including plus ones, thinking they weren’t being recognized themselves, but I realized that made sense.

Okay, so she basically said some people are… special, and others get mad for them, but honestly, I don’t really care about any of that drama. It’s not my problem, and I’m just here for her, you know?

If someone laughs at my joke, that’s enough of a reason for me to tell it.

Nikki made a strong impression at the Golden Globes last year, and she’s said she prefers to playfully tease celebrities rather than make harsh jokes about them.

She explained that she didn’t want to be so harsh that it would ruin someone’s professional life, or force her to avoid them for the rest of her own career.

I only make jokes about people I respect. Everything comes from a good place, and I’d never intentionally try to hurt someone’s feelings.

Glaser explained that if he makes a joke about someone, it means he respects them and believes they have a good sense of humor.

I avoid making fun of people I don’t respect or feel any connection with.

I was really surprised to hear that Nikki was told not to make jokes about Julia Roberts when she hosts the Golden Globes! Apparently, someone warned her against it during her opening monologue. It’s a bit strange to me that there are certain people you just can’t poke fun at, even at a show like the Golden Globes in LA.

She recently appeared on CBS Mornings and explained she’s been testing out her stand-up routine in Los Angeles clubs. She noted that jokes about Julia Roberts aren’t landing well with audiences.

‘You cannot make fun of America’s Sweetheart. 

I really put a lot of effort into crafting the joke I’m about to tell about her, because it’s quite subtle and I want to get it just right.
