House of Guinness spoilers follow.
The first season ended with a lot of unanswered questions, but there’s still a chance for House of Guinness to continue. While Netflix hasn’t officially renewed the show yet, its creator, Steven Knight, is optimistic about the possibility of a second season.
The story begins after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the founder of the well-known Guinness brewery. He left the business to his four children, and under their leadership, the brand continued to expand and become even more successful.

The period drama, featuring a talented cast including James Norton, Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, and Jack Gleeson, was popular with viewers when it premiered on Netflix in September. However, Netflix hasn’t announced whether it will be renewed for another season.
Steven Knight, the creator of shows like Peaky Blinders and Taboo, has hinted at another season. He told RadioTimes that a follow-up is currently being developed.

He started by saying the actors were incredible, and he was thrilled for them, calling them a truly talented generation. He was also delighted with the amazing reaction the project received, noting it was a global phenomenon.
When asked for more details, he simply said he wouldn’t be discussing the matter further. While he didn’t confirm anything directly, his hesitation strongly suggests the idea has been considered.
Fans of the show are eagerly awaiting news about a second season, especially after the first season ended with a dramatic cliffhanger: Sean Rafferty (Norton) and Lady Olivia (Danielle Galligan) decided to stay together.

This happened while Olivia’s husband, Arthur Boyle, was putting a lot of pressure on her. He’d told her she could continue the affair only if she understood he would leave her with no money. At the same time, Sean faced losing his job within the family business.
Even though things were difficult, Sean and Olivia confessed their feelings for each other and vowed to continue their relationship without getting caught by Arthur. This could become a major plot point if the show gets a second season.
House of Guinness is streaming on Netflix.
