Bam Margera Returns in Jackass 5 with Archival Footage Amid Feud

Johnny Knoxville is bringing the Jackass crew back together for a fifth movie, set to hit theaters on June 26th. The biggest surprise? Bam Margera will be joining them!

According to Variety, Bam Margera will be included in Jackass 5, but through previously unreleased footage, not new filming. This could mean Johnny Knoxville and Margera are resolving their long-standing conflict. Margera was one of the original Jackass cast members, but he was removed from the 2022 film Jackass Forever after breaking a “wellness agreement.”

The contract included mandatory drug and alcohol testing. Margera sued, alleging he was forced to sign the agreement while in rehab in 2019. He was ultimately fired after testing positive for Adderall, a medication he says he had been legally taking for ten years.

Following the issues that led to his departure, Bam Margera has struggled with his health and has repeatedly entered and exited rehab. Johnny Knoxville later expressed his concern for his friend, saying, “I care about Bam a lot and I hope he gets and stays healthy. He needs to commit to getting better and stick with it.”

Last year, Margera said he didn’t want to participate in a Jackass reunion, following public criticism of his fellow cast members and his experiences with the show.

They forced me into treatment and paid for it, but then didn’t include me in the movie, which led to a court battle. There’s no amount of money that would make me want to work with them on another ‘Jackass’ project – the relationship is beyond repair.

Bam Margera became famous for his work on MTV’s Jackass and the three movies that followed. During his time on the show, he performed many dangerous and outrageous stunts, like getting branded, facing snakes, being shot with rubber bullets, and even involving his parents in his wild pranks.

Okay, folks, get ready! I just heard the news – Jackass 5 is officially happening! Sam Knoxville and the whole crew dropped the announcement on Instagram, and it’s hitting theaters June 26th. Apparently, we’re in for a fresh batch of insane stunts, plus they’re digging up some never-before-seen footage from past projects that didn’t quite make the cut. Sounds like classic Jackass mayhem is about to return!
