gameaki, the creators of Train Hero and other games, have released Shotgun Joe – Love & Monsters, a new 2D platform shooter, for Android devices. An iOS version hasn’t been announced yet.

Gameaki is back with their fifth game, Shotgun Joe – Love & Monsters! It’s a fast-paced, colorful 2D shooter that takes inspiration from classic arcade games. You play as Shotgun Joe, who’s on a global journey to find the pieces needed to fix a teleportation device and save his wife.

The story begins with a surprising alien invasion and the abduction of your fiancée, Annabel, by a flying saucer. This event drives your journey through challenging worlds filled with monsters and enemies. Though the story isn’t overly serious, it’s enjoyable because each new location introduces fresh dangers and exciting, quick-paced combat.

This game looks like a lot of fun! It combines fast-paced, side-scrolling shooting with beautiful graphics and challenging gameplay. You’ll battle zombies, explore dark gothic worlds and even fight dinosaurs, all while upgrading your weapons and collecting power-ups. Plus, you can play it offline!
