Billie Eilish has publicly commented on the fatal shooting of a woman by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Grammy winner used her Instagram Stories on Friday to criticize Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), sharing a post that labeled the agency a ‘terrorist group’.
The post claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a federally funded terrorist group operating within the Department of Homeland Security and has not improved public safety.
These individuals are responsible for horrific acts of violence, destroying families, frightening communities, and now taking innocent lives. It has to stop.
She shared another post stating that Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old woman fatally shot during immigration enforcement, wasn’t the first person to be killed by ICE.
The social media post claimed that 32 people died while in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody in 2025, and that ICE caused the deaths of 2 people in 2026.

‘This needs to end today. Abolish ICE,’ the end of the post read.
Eilish isn’t the only A-lister who has spoken out on the shooting.
John Mulaney has delayed his Minneapolis comedy shows until further notice, citing safety concerns in the city. He stated the situation there is currently too dangerous to perform.
The comedian, who is married to Olivia Munn, expressed his sadness about the events unfolding in the city, writing on X that it was ‘heartbreaking’.
Eva Longoria shared videos and articles about the filming on her Instagram Stories, giving fans a glimpse behind the scenes.
In one noteworthy slide, she captioned a video discussing Goods’ death ‘This is murder’.
‘Arrest the shooter,’ another read.
She shared a post about the shooting, claiming that ICE killed a woman who was courageously defending her immigrant neighbors.
Actress Amanda Seyfried, known for her role in ‘Mamma Mia!’, shared a video on social media showing Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey telling Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to leave the city.
In the very next slide, Seyfried posted a quote from George Orwell’s book 1984.

The message stated that the Party demanded you ignore what you saw and heard. It explained that this was their ultimate and most important instruction.
Marvel Star and Canadian actor Simu Liu condemned ICE’s actions in Minneapolis on X.
He expressed extreme outrage over the actions of ICE agents in Minneapolis, stating they committed murder. He urged people not to be misled by justifications, emphasizing that video evidence clearly shows an unarmed woman being killed while driving away.
‘Immigration laws can be enforced in a dignified way. F*** ICE forever.’
Cynthia Nixon, an activist and actress known for her role in Sex and the City, posted a video of a shooting and called for the abolishment of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
In subsequent posts, she called for the arrest of the ICE agent who shot Good.
Honestly, I was so outraged to hear about what happened, I just want to see every single ICE agent involved in blocking her medical care held accountable. They need to be arrested and charged – with reckless endangerment, manslaughter, or whatever the law allows for in Minnesota – because what they did was completely unacceptable.
On Wednesday, Good was fatally shot while sitting in an SUV that was obstructing a street during demonstrations against an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation.

Jonathan Ross, the person involved in the incident, is being called a ‘murderer’ by angry Democrats. However, the Trump administration fully supports him, claiming he was acting in self-defense after the driver, Good, appeared to try and hit him with her car.
I saw the video – it was really something. Apparently, on Wednesday afternoon, Officer captured Good smiling and telling Ross, ‘That’s fine dude. I’m not mad,’ while she was sitting in her Honda Pilot. Alpha News in Minnesota got ahold of it, and it’s just…well, it shows her being so calm and collected, even then.
Rebecca, her wife, could be heard telling the agent to reveal himself and challenging him with, “Are you going to confront us?”
Rebecca held up her own phone and challenged him, saying, ‘If you’re looking for trouble, why don’t you just go grab something to eat?’ She then added, ‘Go on, do it.’
With the situation becoming more intense on the Minneapolis street, Good was instructed to exit the vehicle, but he didn’t comply.
She started the car and drove away as part of a protest, according to the Trump administration, against the planned detention of Somali migrants in the area.
Rebecca yelled ‘Drive, baby, drive!’ just as Ross’s camera shook violently. It’s not known whether Ross was hit by the car or if he jumped to avoid it.
Ross shot three times, with one bullet going through the front windshield of Good’s Honda and fatally striking him. During the shooting, an agent was overheard using a highly offensive slur while referring to Good.
Just moments later, her car collided with two parked cars. This unexpected incident rapidly sparked division across the country.

Friends of Good have shared that she was involved with a group of activists who worked together to oppose ICE. This group connected through her son’s charter school, where they organized their efforts.
A mother whose child goes to the same school as the victim told The New York Post that the deceased was a brave and principled person who died while trying to do the right thing.
Tensions remain high in Minneapolis following Good’s death, and protesters continued to demonstrate on Thursday, gathering outside the city’s immigration court.
As a concerned resident, I’ve noticed our schools have closed their doors – classes and everything – and it seems like a really smart move. Governor Walz is asking everyone to stay calm, and honestly, it’s reassuring to see things being handled with safety as the top priority. It just feels like the right thing to do right now.
Okay, so I’ve been following this so closely, and it’s insane! Apparently, Homeland Security has sent over 2,000 officers – like, thousands – to this one area. They’re calling it their biggest immigration crackdown ever. I mean, it’s huge! I’ve been tracking all the updates and it’s just…wow. It’s the largest operation they’ve ever done. I’m glued to the news, honestly.
