The actress, who starred in HBO’s “Industry” and the comedy “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” announced she married Armando Rivera last year. She marked their anniversary on Monday with Instagram posts, including photos of her and Rivera, as well as pictures from their small wedding ceremony with friends and family.

Mickey Down and Konrad Kay used to worry that their HBO show was too slow-paced, gloomy, and took itself too seriously. Now, looking back on the third season, they’ve pinpointed the moments that ultimately shaped it into what it became.
She apologized if people were just learning the news and assured them it wasn’t intentionally widespread. Myha’la Herrold, originally from San Jose, also shared her thanks to her family and friends for making the day so special.
According to W Magazine, the couple first connected during the COVID-19 pandemic and married five years later. Myha’la became well-known for playing Harper Stern, a determined finance analyst, in the HBO show “Industry,” which premiered in November 2020. After the show gained popularity, Rivera, a soccer player and actor himself, reached out to Myha’la and her co-stars. He then interviewed her for a college journalism project, ultimately leading to their relationship.
I remember thinking our first meeting would be quick – maybe five or ten minutes, tops. But honestly, I was immediately struck by how attractive and kind this person was! As Myha’la shared with W Magazine, we ended up talking for much longer than either of us anticipated. It was a really great connection.

While taking a break from shooting the fourth season of HBO’s intense workplace drama, the actor discussed Yasmin’s conflict with Harper, describing the character as someone who builds walls around herself and revealing more about her motivations.
After connecting online, they met face-to-face in the Bay Area in early 2021. Since then, they’ve openly shared their relationship on social media and at public events, including the premiere of “Industry” Season 4 in New York City on Thursday.
I’m so excited for the return of “Industry” on HBO this Sunday! It’s created by the brilliant Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, and the cast is incredible – Ken Leung, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Kit Harington, and Sagar Radia all bring so much to the show. I can’t wait to see what happens this season!
