Demi Moore makes the rare move of describing the intimate bond she had with Bruce Willis during 13-year marriage

Demi Moore went to a private showing of Kate Hudson’s new film, Song Sung Blue, a movie about Neil Diamond, at the Soho House in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what she wore! A black suit, so chic, with a crisp white shirt, but then… stiletto heels! Seriously, stiletto heels with a suit? She absolutely pulled it off. And the cutest part? She was carrying her tiny dog, Pilaf, while chatting with everyone before she was supposed to talk with Kate Hudson. I was practically dying, she’s just perfection!

Demi Moore discussed her former husband, Bruce Willis, whom she married in 1987 and divorced in 2000. They share three daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.

A guest at the event said the beautiful woman with black hair shared that she and Willis were longtime fans of Diamond’s music, often listening to it throughout their 13 years of marriage.

‘On a personal note, Bruce loved Neil Diamond,’ began the Hollywood icon.

Some of Diamond’s hit songs were Sweet Caroline, Forever In Blue Jeans and September Morn.

She recalled that early in their relationship, he unexpectedly put on Neil Diamond. She remembers being surprised and asking him why.

He declared it was a day to celebrate Neil Diamond and spent the entire day playing his music. He did this consistently for years – he was a massive fan, and honestly, so am I!

Bruce Willis, age 70, and Dionne Warwick, 84, both hail from the East Coast. Willis spent his childhood in New Jersey, and Warwick was raised in Brooklyn, New York.

Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, attended the screening with his girlfriend, 27-year-old Italian model Vittoria Ceretti. They’ve been dating for two years.

The couple sat with Al Pacino in the top row of the red swanky screening room.

Leonardo DiCaprio grabbed three small bags of popcorn and went to Al Pacino. He offered one to the veteran actor, who playfully replied that he didn’t typically eat popcorn.

According to an eyewitness, the two people laughed and embraced. The source added that it was clear they have a strong affection for each other and are very close friends.

The movie tells the true story of Mike and Claire Sardina, a Milwaukee couple who performed as a successful Neil Diamond tribute act called Lightening & Thunder from 1989 to 2006, all while dealing with difficult personal issues.

The film is proving to be a huge hit.

Hudson plays Claire and Hugh Jackman plays Mike.

Hudson received an award nomination for her performance in the film earlier today.

Craig Brewer, the director and writer of “Song Sung Blue,” publicly thanked Hudson for the recognition as he presented the film.

Indian actress and singer Shannon K was also there as she talked to both Moore and Hudson.

Before attending the screening, Al Pacino was at The Grove for the premiere of Gus Van Sant’s highly praised film, Dead Man’s Wire.

The film features performances by Coleman Domingo and Cary Elwes. Cary Elwes’ brother, Cassian Elwes, also served as a producer on the project.

This news follows Emma Heming Willis’ recent statement that the holidays have been different since her husband, Bruce Willis, received his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.

Bruce Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023. His wife shared that the holidays are especially difficult because he always enjoyed being the heart of the festivities.

Emma, who shares daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, with Bruce, recently wrote about her holiday memories, recalling how he was always the focal point of the celebrations.

He cherished this time of year, enjoying the lively atmosphere, time with family, and familiar traditions. He always made the pancakes, played in the snow with the children, and was a calm, comforting figure throughout the day.

‘There was comfort in the routine of knowing exactly how the day would go.

Dementia doesn’t make memories disappear, but it can make them feel distant. That distance can be painful.

Emma explained that ‘grief’ has hit her at unexpected points during the Christmas celebrations.

The 47-year-old model and entrepreneur wrote about how grief can strike unexpectedly – while decorating for the holidays, wrapping presents, even surrounded by others, or in the stillness after everyone has left.

Whenever I’m untangling holiday lights or doing things around the house that Bruce used to handle, I sometimes grumble his name – not out of anger, but simply because I miss him taking the lead during the holidays.
