She was a hot blonde bombshell in the 1980s.
The 66-year-old actress appeared in the 1988 Tom Cruise film, Cocktail, playing the role of the villainous love interest to Bryan Brown’s character.
The following year, the tall actress starred in a romantic storyline with Patrick Swayze’s character in the popular movie Road House.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always admired Kelly Lynch’s versatility! You might recognize her from a fantastic range of films – she’s graced the screen in everything from the edgy ‘Drugstore Cowboy’ and the thrilling ‘Desperate Hours’ to the heartwarming ‘Curly Sue’ and even action-packed titles like ‘Charlie’s Angels’. She’s also shown her comedic side in ‘Mr. Magoo’ and ‘Joe Somebody’, proving she can truly do it all!
And the performer also had recurring roles on the cable shows The L Word and Magic City.
Before her acting career took off, she worked as a model for Versace and graced the covers of popular fashion magazines like Vogue.
She has been married to 72-year-old Scrooged movie screenwriter Mitch Glazer since 1992.
Who is she?

She is Kelly Lynch.
On Wednesday the Hollywood icon was seen on the red carpet with her spouse.
The thespian was appearing at the Los Angeles screening of Dead Man’s Wire at the AMC The Grove 14.
Lynch stunned in a long, copper-sequined gown with a sleeveless design. Her reddish hair was styled with a side part and flowed in gentle waves.
Her makeup was also a flattering bronze color which coordinated well with her gown.
The actor’s husband looked sharp in a black suit and white scarf, and his long gray hair was styled loose.
The movie star was born in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
After graduating from college, Lynch worked as a flight attendant before being signed by Elite, a modeling agency.
She collaborated with Isabella Rossellini on a Dolce & Gabbana campaign, and one memorable photo featured her in a black, bustier-style tank top, a stylish hat, and a hint of her midriff as she posed for the camera.

The model also graced the cover of German Vogue in a striking cherry red dress that featured a bare back.
Lynch also was friends with Gianni Versace and worked for the Italian designer.
Then she sought acting stardom which made her move out west to Hollywood.
Her breakthrough role was with Cruise in Cocktail in 1988.
Next she was the hot girl in Road House.
In a 2017 interview with People, she fondly remembered her first two films, sharing how much she enjoyed working with Patrick Swayze and Tom Cruise. She described both actors as genuinely kind, sweet, and fun to be around.

Following his earlier work, the actor appeared in a series of films including Drugstore Cowboy (1989), The Beans of Egypt, Maine (1994), Desperate Hours (1990), Curly Sue (1991), Three of Hearts (1993), Imaginary Crimes (1994), Virtuosity (1995), Heaven’s Prisoners (1996), Mr. Magoo (1997), and Homegrown (1998).
During the 2000s, Lynch appeared in smaller roles in the movies Charlie’s Angels (2000), Joe Somebody (2001), and The Jacket (2005).
From 2004 to 2009, Lynch frequently appeared on the Showtime drama The L Word, playing the character Ivan Aycock.
She later joined the cast of The CW teen soap 90210 (2010–2011) as Laurel Cooper.

She reappeared on cable TV playing Meg Bannock in the series Magic City (2012–2013), which was created by her husband, Glazer.
When she was 20-years-old she suffered a terrible accident.
In 1980, the celebrity was seriously injured in a car accident when another driver going the wrong way on a Minnesota highway collided with their vehicle.
The accident caused severe injuries to Lynch. She was thrown partially through the windshield, and both of her legs were broken when the steering wheel and dashboard collapsed onto them.
After a year in the hospital, Lynch faced the possibility of losing both legs. Doctors warned her that without intervention, she would likely develop gangrene and not survive.

Lynch’s mother intervened to prevent surgeons from amputating her legs, and then successfully found a different doctor who agreed to try and save them.
Lynch told People in 2019 that the ordeal was difficult.
‘I can’t tell you how horrible it was,’ the actress said.
I used to be very athletic – a state champion swimmer and a dancer. I always believed my strength and smarts came from my physical abilities, so the thought of losing that terrified me. I didn’t know how I’d cope if I couldn’t move and perform anymore.
