First look at Daisy Edgar-Jones and Robert Pattinson’s “unconventional” Netflix heist thriller

Fans are getting a first glimpse of the upcoming Netflix thriller, Here Comes the Flood, thanks to newly released set photos. The pictures show stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Robert Pattinson filming scenes in Patterson, New Jersey.

The actor from Normal People was photographed wearing a long, tan suede coat, flared jeans, and white Converse sneakers. Meanwhile, the star of The Batman was spotted in a white apron with a name tag that said “Noah.”

His look was completed with a red and white striped shirt and jeans, with a grey denim jacket.

Netflix describes the upcoming film, Here Comes the Flood, as a unique heist story. It follows a bank guard, a teller, and a professional thief who become entangled in a dangerous web of deception and betrayals.

The film will be directed by Fernando Meirelles, who is famous for directing movies like City of God, The Constant Gardener, and The Two Popes.

Here Comes the Flood was written by Simon Kinberg, who also penned Mr & Mrs Smith.

The film boasts a strong cast, including Denzel Washington, Danai Gurira from The Walking Dead, Sean Harris known for Mission: Impossible, Moisés Arias of Jockey, and Justin Kirk from Succession.

Additional cast and plot details are yet to be announced, as well as a firm 2026 release date.

Robert Pattinson has several exciting projects on the horizon, including a new film coming to Netflix. He recently finished work on Mickey 17 and Die, My Love, and is now filming The Drama, a romantic comedy from A24. He’s also joining Christopher Nolan for the ambitious film The Odyssey, and will reprise his role as Batman in the upcoming sequel to the popular DC movie.

Daisy Edgar-Jones has two upcoming projects: she’ll be in the new movie adaptation of Sense and Sensibility from Focus Features, and the drama Bad Bridgets with Emilia Jones. Her series Here Comes the Flood is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2026.
