Lizzie Cundy shared her heartbreak as she announced her beloved brother Peter has died.
Lizzie, a 57-year-old mother of two and ex-wife of footballer Jason Cundy, announced sad news in a statement on Thursday.
Lizzie shared the news of her brother’s passing on Instagram, posting a childhood photo of him in black and white.
Lizzie wrote a heartfelt message about her brother, saying her family is devastated by his loss.
I’m writing to share the sad news that my brother, Peter, has passed away. Our family is deeply heartbroken.
Peter was a dearly loved family member – a son, brother, and uncle. He dedicated his career to the performing arts, working in both theatre and film. He was also passionate about dogs and a devoted fan of Chelsea Football Club.

Pete was a truly wonderful person, full of kindness, and will be deeply missed. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. Rest peacefully, Pete.
This sad news follows just two days after Lizzie celebrated her mother, Gloria Miller’s, birthday. Gloria is friends with Queen Camilla and lives in the luxurious Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Lizzie shared a picture of her youthful looking mum as she turned 91 on Tuesday.
She wrote: ‘Happy birthday to the strongest woman I know. My dear mother, Gloria.’
Gloria is very social, and Lizzie recently shared with the Daily Mail that her mother is just like her – she enjoys a daily drink.
Her mother is also active on the dating scene following the sad death of Lizzie’s father, Derek.
Lizzie remembers her childhood home being a hub for fascinating individuals, including the renowned photographer David Bailey. She fondly recalls even going shopping with her celebrity crush, Sharon Stone, whom she describes as a genuinely kind person.

I’ve always been fascinated by her background! Her mom was a really successful woman – a senior manager at Jaeger, a classic fashion house, and she was also a model. Plus, she was married to Derek Miller, a creative art director at the famous Saatchi ad agency. It’s a pretty glamorous family history, if you ask me!
Derek frequently included Lizzie in his advertising work, which quickly brought her some early recognition.
Lizzie grew up in a very strict Catholic environment, raised by nuns. She described her father as a stern disciplinarian.
So much so, that Lizzie was forced to lie when she was growing up in order to have a boyfriend.
Lizzie revealed in a previous interview on This Morning that her father wasn’t keen on her having a boyfriend, especially one who would stay over.
‘I remember growing up as a teenager having to be very very sneaky. Having to lie all the time.
One time, I had a boyfriend over and my dad overheard something. I quickly hid him in the linen closet until my dad left for work.
I used to date another guy, and my dad unexpectedly came home from work. That other boyfriend actually had to escape out the bathroom window to avoid being seen!
Lizzie was married to Chelsea star Jason Cundy from 1994 to 2012.
