Latest twist in Jules and Lachie Neale split reveals just how close Tess Crosley was to the couple

It’s been discovered that Jules and Lachie Neale lived very close to their former friend, Tess Crosley.

The 32-year-old Mormon missionary at the center of the AFL couple’s divorce lived just a three-minute drive from the Neales’ home in Brisbane, which is valued at $2.43 million.

Tess and her husband Ben have a home in a neighbouring suburb. 

Jules has left her home in Brisbane and is now with her parents in Western Australia, where she’s receiving support.

It is understood the 35-year-old has taken the two children she shares with Lachie with her.  

Okay, so, like, my world just shattered. Lachie Neale, my absolute favorite player, announced today that he’s giving up the co-captaincy at the Lions. But that’s not even the worst part! He also confirmed he and Jules are splitting up! I’m seriously devastated for him, and honestly, for everyone. It just feels… unreal. I can’t even process it. He’s such an amazing player and seemed like such a great guy, I’m just heartbroken to hear both of these things at once.

Okay, so this is a bit of a social media drama unfolding. Apparently, I’ve been following this situation with Jules and Tess, and it seems Jules was really upset with her former friend, Tess, posting photos from the Brisbane Lions’ grand final win on Instagram. She actually publicly asked Tess to take them down, leaving a comment – which has since been deleted – saying Tess was making things awkward. It’s a reminder that even celebrations can get messy when friendships hit a rough patch, and sometimes things are best handled privately!

Jules then indicated that her marriage to Lachie was over and felt betrayed.

She stated firmly that she wasn’t struggling to cope with anything. Instead, she explained she had been deeply hurt and betrayed.

There is no suggestion that Tess has done anything improper.

During a difficult press conference on Friday, Lachie was directly asked if he had been unfaithful to his wife, Jules.

‘I cannot address those rumours,’ the star midfielder shot back. 

The 32-year-old expressed strong disappointment in himself and promised to take steps to improve and become the best he can be.

Lachie told reporters he was sorry for disappointing his family and causing them pain. He didn’t share details, but acknowledged his actions had hurt those he cares about most, and he deeply regrets that.

I understand this is a result of what I did, and I take responsibility. My main goal now is to regain Jules’ trust. Above all, our kids are what matter most.

I realize my personal life attracts public attention, and I appreciate that. However, I kindly request that the media respect Jules and our children’s privacy as we navigate this change and move forward.

Before the surprising news came out, Tess was seen looking worriedly out the windows of her home in Brisbane as police spoke to her husband on New Year’s Eve.

I was absolutely glued to the updates, and it was insane! Apparently, just before 1:30 PM, the police showed up at her place, and Ben – shirtless, can you believe it?! – was there. They brought all this stuff with them: a long, black suitcase, the kind you can lock, and two other long black bags. They just handed it all to Ben! I need to know what was in those bags, seriously!

He spoke to the police with his arms folded, as Tess quietly watched from behind the curtains.

There’s no evidence to indicate that Tess or Ben Crosley did anything wrong during the police visit.

According to a Queensland Police spokesperson, officers visited the property and collected several items after checking on the well-being of someone who lived there.
