Tess Daly and Vernon Kay’s daughter Phoebe has revealed she has moved to New York City.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old posted a photo on Instagram of herself at a rooftop bar in New York City.
Phoebe seems to be only staying there temporarily, as her photo caption said, ‘Home for a while…’
Phoebe hasn’t shared why she moved to New York, though her last social media post before the move was a vacation photo from the French Alps.
Phoebe recently posted several behind-the-scenes photos from the final episode of Strictly Come Dancing featuring her mother, which aired late last month.
The blonde contestant looked completely at ease while posing with judge Anton Du Beke and winner Carlos Gu, and viewers have suggested she’d be perfect as the show’s new presenter.

She shared a heartfelt message about her mother, saying how amazing the Strictly Come Dancing final was. She described the show as creating a truly magical atmosphere and expressed how fortunate she was to watch her mother collaborate with such talented people.
Last night was a really emotional but wonderful celebration of the show and everything Mum has achieved over the past 21 years. Mum, you’re a true inspiration, and I’ll cherish these Strictly memories always.
I’ve grown up with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – my mum watched it while she was pregnant with me! It’s always been a part of my life, and I’ll always be its biggest fan.
Viewers enthusiastically shared their praise in the comments, celebrating Tess’s daughter’s 21st birthday and noting her potential to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Many also thanked Tess and Claudia for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for both the dancers and the audience over the years.
Someone suggested taking over at SCD, saying, ‘You’d be a great leader, just like your mom!’
In an emotional finale to Strictly Come Dancing 2025, Karen Carney was crowned the winner while Tess’s co-host, Claudia Winkleman, said farewell to the audience.
Before the winner was revealed, Tess and Claudia were honored with a video tribute showcasing the best moments from this year’s show.
Everyone was incredibly surprised when Craig Revel Horwood announced a special letter had been received from Queen Elizabeth.

To Tess and Claudia, as you get ready for your last dance, I want to express our gratitude – from all of us watching each week!
I’ve always felt that Strictly isn’t really about the dancing itself, but more about the connections people make, the challenges they face together, and the happiness they find in working towards a common goal.
If that’s the case, then your connection has been the most remarkable partnership we’ve ever seen. The genuine warmth, kindness, and joy you share has been essential to the show’s success.
Honestly, it’s been such a joy watching you both! I’m sending you all my best wishes for whatever amazing adventures lie ahead. And as someone who truly believes in its power, please, please promise me you’ll keep dancing. It’s a gift that keeps on giving, and I know it will enrich your lives no matter where you go.
‘With the warmest gratitude and admiration, Her Royal Highness, Queen Camilla.’
