It’s over for Bill Hader and Ali Wong.
The couple, who began dating in April 2023, have ended their two-year relationship.
With Ali planning a stand-up tour and Bill busy with film and TV work, the relationship simply became too challenging to maintain, a source told People magazine on Wednesday.
‘They’re now focusing on work and their kids, while still supporting each other.’
The Daily Mail hasn’t received a reply after reaching out to representatives for both Bill Hader and Ali Wong for comment.
Even though they’ve separated, things are still very friendly between them, and they remain in contact as friends, according to a source.
People first noticed trouble in their relationship last year when Anna Wong didn’t appear with Bill Hader on the red carpet and didn’t acknowledge him in her Golden Globes acceptance speech.
She won the award for Best Stand-Up Comedy Performance on Television for her Netflix special, Single Lady. She was up against well-known comedians like Jamie Foxx, Nikki Glaser, Seth Meyers, Adam Sandler, and Ramy Youssef.
Honestly, when I heard he was missing from public events, everyone started whispering. His team kept saying everything was fine, that he and Rachel were still together, and it was just a health thing keeping him out of the spotlight. I wanted to believe them so badly, but it just felt…off. I kept hoping it was true, though, because they were perfect together.
The couple publicly displayed affection, attending events like the premiere of ‘Laid’ on Peacock in December 2024 and the 2024 Golden Globes, where Wong received an award for ‘Beef’.
On that night, Hader planted a congratulatory kiss on her cheek before she headed to the stage.
