For weeks, Lachie and Jules Neale, once a beloved couple in the Australian Football League, faced intense public attention after Jules revealed Lachie’s deeply hurtful infidelity.
As Lachie decided to step down as co-captain of the Brisbane Lions last Friday, and Jules moved to Western Australia with their children, Tess and Ben Crosley, another couple involved in the situation, became less prominent.
All eyes are now on the Crosleys, as speculation grows about whether their marriage will survive after Jules publicly blamed Tess for the end of her relationship.
Okay, so after Jules went public, I was obsessed with tracking Ben and Sep! I saw photos of them still together, living in that place in Camp Hill, Brisbane, which was…weird. But now? Now it gets even stranger. Apparently, Ben’s just jetted off to Bali with his mates, leaving Sep back home in Queensland! Can you believe it? I’m glued to social media trying to figure out what’s going on, it’s insane!
Recent events suggest growing strain on the couple, who wed in 2017. Tess was spotted having lunch alone on Tuesday, and noticeably wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
She was photographed enjoying a casual outing, picking up sushi, iced coffee, and grapes while wearing a white tank top and navy track pants. She previously served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She finished her outfit with jewelry, white sneakers, and gold-framed sunglasses.
This wasn’t the first time Tess had been seen without her wedding ring since rumors surfaced about her involvement in the Neales’ divorce. She was previously photographed without it last week while vacationing on the Gold Coast with her son.
The Mail reported yesterday that Ben Crosley seems to have gone to Bali with a group of friends.
He was seen at the Bambu Fitness Centre in Uluwatu after working out with his friends, Tom Bennallack and Seth Mutton.
After a workout, the finance director from New Heritage Investment, a company based in Hong Kong, posed for a shirtless photo with two friends. His friend, Bennallack, then shared the picture on Instagram.
Okay, so I was totally stalking Bennallack’s feed, and he posted these amazing pics of Crosley and Mutton working out with a whole crew! They were doing some seriously intense stuff at the gym – like, really pushing themselves. I screenshotted everything, obviously. It was incredible to see them all training together!
Social media posts indicate the Crosleys and Neales used to be good friends. They were frequently photographed together, especially while celebrating the Lions’ recent AFL grand final victory.
The friendship is finished, and so is Jules and Lachie’s marriage. Jules felt betrayed by Lachie and asked Tess to remove pictures of them together from Instagram.

She wrote in a comment, which has since been removed, telling someone to take down their posts because they were causing embarrassment. The comment was posted on December 22nd.
The situation came to a head on Friday when Lachie, a two-time winner of the Brownlow Medal, announced he was resigning as co-captain of the Brisbane Lions and also revealed he and Jules were separating.
I’ve made mistakes and disappointed my family, and I sincerely apologize for hurting those closest to me. I’m truly sorry for my actions.
I take full responsibility for what I’ve done, and my main focus now is on earning back Jules’ trust, because our children’s happiness is the most important thing.
Neale, who has two children – Piper and Freddie – with Jules, admitted he wished he’d made different choices in his personal life.
But when asked whether he had cheated on his wife, he said: ‘No, I cannot address those rumours.’
