Home and Away star announces engagement after stunning sunset proposal in Scotland

Adam Rowland is engaged to longtime partner Olivia Lewis.

The actor from Home and Away posted a beautiful photo of his proposal, which happened at sunset overlooking Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The actor, age 30, proposed to his partner with a ring while they enjoyed the stunning view from the famous hilltop.

Adam shared a romantic photo on Instagram Tuesday, captioning it ‘Our favourite sunrise’.

Oh my gosh, the comments section EXPLODED with love! Everyone from Adam’s current castmates on Home and Away was sending congratulations, but it wasn’t just them! So many of his co-stars from years past – like, really past – were there too, sending their best wishes. It was amazing to see how many people have worked with him and adore him, honestly! I was scrolling for ages just seeing all the support!

Angelina Thomson shared a very enthusiastic message, writing, “Congratulations to you both!”

Adam is a beloved actor on the series, having portrayed musician Remi Carter since 2021.

He plays the lead guitarist for a band in the show named Lyrik. 

I’m so excited to introduce the incredibly talented musicians who are rounding out the band! We have Kirby Aramoana, who goes by Angelina Thomson on stage, the wonderful Eden Fowler, also known as Stephanie Panozzo, and the fantastic Bob Forsyth – or Rob Mallet, as many of you may know him. They’re all bringing such amazing energy to the project, and I can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve created together!

Adam was recently embroiled in a very dramatic storyline on the soap opera. 

The season ended with a shocking cliff-hanger: his character, Remi, was involved in a terrible train crash.

Questions remain over whether the rocker will survive the catastrophic accident.   

Adam recently revealed how he spends the Christmas holidays. 

‘I grew up in Albury-Wodonga [on the NSW-Victoria border],’ Adam told TV Week. 

‘The family gets together and Mum puts on a big spread for lunch, then we fall into a food coma. 

I always enjoy spending Boxing Day with my close friends, playing cricket in someone’s backyard. It’s a great way to relax and de-stress after a busy year.
