Okay, so Genshin Impact’s Version 6.3 is dropping on January 14, 2026, and will be around until February 25, 2026. As a free-to-play player myself, I’m definitely planning to jump in and grab all those free Primogems! This guide basically gives you a heads-up on how many Primogems you can realistically get if you complete everything in the 6.3 update.

How to Get 17,360+ Primogems for free in Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Update

1. Daily Commissions

The new update will last for six weeks, as expected. If you complete your daily commissions each day before the reset, you can earn 60 Primogems for 42 days, totaling 2520 Primogems.

2. Spiral Abyss

The Spiral Abyss resets every 30 days, specifically floors 8 through 12. Completing floor 12-3 of the Spiral Abyss earns you 800 Primogems each time it resets. During the Version 6.3 Update, the Spiral Abyss will reset twice, allowing you to earn a total of 1600 Primogems from these resets.

3. Imaginarium Theater

The Imaginarium Theater will be reset once in Version 6.3. If you successfully complete the Visionary Mode, you’ll receive 1000 Primogems each time the Theater resets. This means you can earn 1000 Primogems from the Imaginarium Theater reset in this update.

4. Paimon’s Bargains Shop (Stardust Exchange)

As a Traveler, I’m always looking for ways to get more Wishes! Paimon told me about the Stardust Exchange in her shop, and it’s awesome – you can trade Stardust for 5 Acquaint Fates and 5 Intertwined Fates. Just a heads-up, the shop refreshes every month, so don’t forget to grab those Fates before the reset!

The Paimon’s Bargains shop will refresh once during this update. You’ll be able to get 5 Intertwined Fates (worth 800 Primogems) when it resets in February 2026.

5. HoYoLAB Daily Check-In

Every month, Genshin Impact offers daily rewards on their HoYoLAB website and app. Simply check in each day to earn a total of 60 Primogems.

Earn 60 Primogems each month by completing all the daily tasks. You can receive a total of 120 Primogems over the course of two months.

6. Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Maintenance Compensation

Genshin Impact updates usually take about 5 hours of maintenance. Once the maintenance is complete, players can log in to experience the new content and receive 600 Primogems as compensation via their in-game mail.

7. Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Livestream

During the livestream, HoYoverse shared three codes that each give you 100 Primogems, for a total of 300 Primogems. Don’t wait to redeem them, though – these codes will expire in 16 to 24 hours! You can find a list of all Genshin Impact redeem codes here.

8. Test Runs

Before a new five-star character is fully released, there’s a trial period where you can play as them and see how they work. Once you finish the trial, you’ll get 20 Primogems and materials to help strengthen the character if you decide to add them to your team.

With the 6.3 update, we’re excited to introduce two new playable characters, Columbina and Zibai! Ineffa and Neuvillette will also be returning. Players can earn 80 Primogems through these releases.

9. Exploration and Offerings

The new update includes a fresh map to discover, along with unlockable statues and waypoints. We’re also getting a new offering system and better rewards for leveling up the Statues of the Seven. Altogether, all the new exploration content is estimated to reward around 2500 Primogems.

10. Limited Events and Stygian Onslaught

Here is a list of all the limited events we will be getting during the 6.3 update patch:

11. World Quests and Archon Quests

The latest update introduces a wealth of new quests, including World Quests, Archon Quests, and Story Quests. Update 6.3 offers a lot of engaging content and story elements to explore. Here’s a detailed look at all the new quests and how many Primogems you can earn from this ongoing content.

12. Achievements

13. Lantern Rite

As usual, Lantern Rite will give us 20 pulls. We’ll earn 10 Intertwined Fates by logging in each day, and we’ll also receive 1600 Primogems through the in-game mail system.
