Riot Games unveils VCT Stage 2 Playoffs roadshows locations

Starting in 2026, the VCT Stage 2 Playoffs will become a traveling event, bringing the excitement of VALORANT to fans in four different cities.

Riot Games wants to make it easier for fans to see Valor Champions Tour (VCT) events in person by hosting them in more cities. Starting in 2026 with the VCT Stage 2 Playoffs, they plan to hold events in four different locations, marking the beginning of a new touring format for VCT.

VCT 2026: Stage 2 Playoffs locations

The VALORANT team recently announced details for the 2026 season, including the cities that will host the VCT 2026: Stage 2 Playoffs. Eight teams from each region will compete in these cities in front of live audiences.

Teams from the Americas in the VCT 2026 league will be heading from Los Angeles, USA, to São Paulo, Brazil. Meanwhile, the top eight teams from the EMEA region will travel from Berlin, Germany, to Madrid, Spain.

For Stage 2 Playoffs, VCT China is heading to Chengdu, and VCT Pacific teams are traveling from Seoul to Busan, both in South Korea.

Teams are competing for a chance to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, China. Just 16 teams will make it to the tournament, which is the most important event of the season.

VCT China roadshow

Unlike other regions, VCT China will hold live events throughout the entire season. It will begin with the Kickoff Stage in Guangzhou, followed by Stage 1 in Hangzhou. The eight best teams will then compete in Beijing for the Stage 1 Playoffs. Stage 2 will kick off in Changsha and culminate in the Playoffs in Chengdu.

Chinese fans have a lot to look forward to in the 2026 VALORANT season! The biggest tournament of the year, VALORANT Champions, will be held in Shanghai, offering an incredible experience for attendees. Plus, Riot Games plans to host another exclusive event in China right after Champions.
