Kellie Finlayson was absolutely glowing as she attended a prestigious event on Tuesday.
The former wife of an Australian Rules Football player looked lovely in pink at the McGrath Day lunch held at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Pink Day celebrates the life of Jane McGrath, who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2008. She was the wife of former cricketer Glenn McGrath and was only 42 years old.
It’s a topic close to Kellie’s heart, as the 30-year-old is battling terminal bowel cancer.
Kellie looked stunning in photos from the day, wearing a long, light pink dress with a low neckline and cream-colored heels.
She complemented her tan with bronzed makeup and a mauve lipstick, and styled her blonde hair in loose, flowing waves.

Edwina Bartholomew also attended the charity event, looking stylish in a vintage-inspired, pale pink suit.
She added a pair of towering black heels and carried a designer handbag in a thatched brown fabric.
Dani Willis joined the group, wearing a short white and pale pink dress with a single shoulder strap, highlighting her legs.
Steve Smith’s wife accessorized with high-heeled flip-flops and opted for a peach-toned makeup look.
Kellie also posted a lot of photos from the event on social media, sharing memories with her friends.
Last year, Kellie celebrated her 30th birthday, a milestone many weren’t sure she’d reach. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer at just 25 after doctors discovered a large tumor in her colon.
Jeremy Finlayson’s wife, a blonde woman, began experiencing health issues shortly after giving birth to their daughter, Sophia, in 2021. Initially, these symptoms were assumed to be normal discomforts related to being a new mother.
‘Being a new mum, a lot of things felt off,’ Kellie said at the time.

I was exhausted, had stomach pain, my digestion was off, and I was losing weight – things I was told are common after having a baby.
But then she spotted blood in her stools.
After it kept happening for a few days, Jeremy suggested I see a doctor to make sure everything was okay and to stop self-diagnosing online.
After waking up from a colonoscopy to the news she had cancer, her world came crashing down.
A year and a half after her initial diagnosis, cancer spread to her lung, indicating it had reached an advanced, incurable stage.
Instead of giving up, Kellie dedicated herself to educating others about the early symptoms of bowel cancer. Even while facing a life-threatening diagnosis, she continued to raise her daughter and support her husband with incredible strength.
She has since celebrated her 30th birthday – an age few thought she would ever see.
She excitedly announced on Instagram, ‘I did it!’ She’d thought she’d feel much older when she woke up, but surprisingly, she didn’t.

I was really struggling the day before, but it wasn’t about turning 30. I understand better than most that getting older is something to be grateful for.
Honestly, it’s still wild to me! Four years ago, I seriously didn’t think I’d even make it to 30. It just didn’t seem possible, and I definitely wasn’t planning for it!
‘But I did, I am here, and I plan to see 40, 50 and 60, too.’
Kellie marked the milestone during a weekend away with Jeremy and Sophia, four.
It looks like Kellie and her family rented a small house in a rural area. She posted photos of cozy moments with her daughter, like cuddling in bed and relaxing in an outdoor tub, as well as a heartwarming picture of a family dinner and a sweet card from Sophia.
The family lives in Adelaide after the couple married in 2023.
Jeremy was delisted by Port in August after being one of the team’s biggest stars.
Kellie revealed on Instagram that her husband is doing shift work as a ‘reach stacker’.

Okay, so Kellie just posted, and it was hilarious! She playfully admitted she had no clue what a ‘reach stacker’ even is – honestly, who does?! But then she dropped this bomb: she seriously doesn’t think he’s ever going back to Port Adelaide. Like, ever! I’m still reeling, I tell you! It’s devastating, but I respect her insight. She just knows these things.
A reach stacker is a specialist in heavy-duty logistics.
This job involves using a large mobile crane to move and organize shipping containers or other heavy items.
Kellie explained in an Instagram Q&A that Jeremy is generally the primary parent, although his work schedule involves rotating shifts.
‘I’m not going to pretend what a reach stacker is but this is his uniform.’
The book focuses on how she has dealt with her devastating diagnosis.
She shared how proud she was to finally publish her work, but also admitted she still didn’t understand why anyone would want to read it in book form.

‘Imposter syndrome is screaming, but deep down, I know this is bigger than me.
This is for anyone who has experienced loss, feels isolated, or has been silenced – those who need their story to be heard.
‘For those who are stuck for words, for those who feel helpless.
It feels like I’ve experienced so much in my life, but becoming a writer, on top of being a mother, is definitely one of the strangest and most unbelievable things that’s happened to me.
‘This is hope. This is me – the rawest version of me.’
