Okay, so I just tried out All Random One Site in VALORANT, and it’s absolutely wild! It’s a limited-time 5v5 mode where everything is random – your agent, your guns, everything. It’s super chaotic and the pace is really fast. Basically, you just jump in and try to take one site, and it’s a total blast. Here’s what you need to know about how it works…
VALORANT is getting a new game mode called All Random One Site! Here’s a breakdown of what you need to know about this fast-paced, unpredictable addition to the game.
All Random One Site in VALORANT
This new game mode in VALORANT feels similar to League of Legends’ ARAM mode, so calling it ‘AROS’ (All Random One Site) might be a good fit.
AROS is now live with VALORANT Update 12.00! This update introduces the new Bandit weapon, adjustments to the Breeze map, and several balance changes to improve gameplay.
Riot describes this as a “fast-paced 5v5 limited-time mode.”
Each round, you’ll be assigned a random Agent. No one on your team will have the same Agent, and you might even receive one you haven’t unlocked yet.
Only one location on the map will be playable each round. The rest of the map is blocked off. The active location changes randomly and is shown to players during the buying period. Here are the maps that can be played:
- Abyss
- Ascent
- Breeze
- Corrode
- Pearl
- Icebox
- Sunset
- Split
Bind, Haven, Fracture, and Lotus are the maps absent from this game mode.
Agents get all their abilities available to use at the start of each round, without any cost. These abilities then recharge over time, with a visible countdown showing when they’re ready again.
Throughout the map, you’ll find Ultimate Orbs that give you 50% of your ultimate ability charge. Players begin each match with no ultimate charge. Getting a kill gives you 50% charge, and when you defeat an opponent, they drop any ultimate charge they had accumulated.
As a player, I love that we get to pick our loadouts every round! It keeps things fresh and strategic. Plus, there’s no need to worry about managing money, which is awesome. The best part is that you unlock better and better weapons and loadouts as the game goes on, so it always feels like you’re getting more powerful!
AROS as a limited-time game mode
All Random One Site is a game mode that won’t be available forever, but Epic hasn’t said exactly when it will disappear. We do know that the Snowball Fight mode is leaving the game soon.
We can expect AROS to be a part of the game mode rotation.
