Lindsay Lohan shares rare photo of son Luai, 2, playing in the snow after holiday festivities

Lindsay Lohan shared a rare photo of her son Luai on social media over the weekend.

The 39-year-old actress shared a sweet moment with her two-year-old son on Instagram Saturday morning, showing them enjoying a snow day together.

Oh my gosh, she just posted the cutest thing! And it wasn’t just the picture, she used Pianza’s Snowflake as the music – Snowflake! – and then added a little snowflake sticker on top. It was perfect, absolutely perfect! I’m obsessed.

Okay, so she totally tried to be subtle, like hiding his face with a little blue heart, but honestly, it just made me want to zoom in even more! But her son? Oh my gosh, his hair is so long and gorgeous, and that snow day outfit? Seriously the cutest thing ever. She knew exactly what she was doing, playing coy while still showing off her adorable little guy!

In the photo, she was beaming with pride while lovingly watching Luai, who was all bundled up for the winter and standing in the snow.

Just a few days ago, the actress from Mean Girls posted a sweet and uncommon photo with her husband. This came after she spent the holidays with her family in Dubai, where she and her husband, Shammas, 39, are raising their son.

She also mentioned her husband, Bader Shammas, in her recent post, suggesting he was the one who took the photo or video.

The former child star from The Parent Trap wore all black and was photographed helping her son stay balanced in the snow, gently checking his pocket to steady him.

She had long, blonde hair styled in soft waves, and she wore very little makeup, letting her natural beauty shine through.

Her young son was wearing a warm, puffy jacket covered in colorful pictures of cars, planes, and other vehicles.

He also wore a pair of patterned boots while walking around in the snowy outdoors with his mom. 

Lohan welcomed Luai in 2023 with her financier husband, whom she married in 2022. 

I was at the premiere of ‘Freakier Friday’ last summer – such a fun event! It was great to see the sequel to the original film I did with Jamie Lee Curtis back in 2003. I even had a chance to chat on the red carpet about motherhood and raising my son, Luai.

As a mom, I totally get it – time flies! Back in August 2025, I was telling People magazine how quickly my little one, Luai, was growing up. Seriously, it felt like he was hitting a new milestone every single day! It’s such a whirlwind, isn’t it?

I was so happy to hear her talk about her amazing son! Apparently, he’s incredibly bright and sweet, and his grandparents are actually really close friends with Steph and Ayesha Curry – how cool is that?

‘He tells so many stories, and he’s just a really intelligent two-year-old,’ she shared. 

The star, who rose to fame as a child actress, and Shammas were first romantically linked 2020. 

Lohan shared that she and he first met at a Dubai restaurant, where she made the first move and started talking to him.

While we don’t know Luai’s birthday, she shared the news of her pregnancy on Instagram in March 2023. She had a small baby shower in April, and in July, it was confirmed that she and her partner welcomed their first child.

The new mother’s representative recently announced the birth of her son and shared his name, which has Arabic origins and means “shield” or “protector.”

Lindsay Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, recently had a baby boy named Luai. They are thrilled with their new son and completely in love as a family.
