Avengers: Doomsday star’s “tense” thriller that ‘keeps you guessing’ lands new UK streaming home

The thriller Safe House, featuring Hannah John-Kamen (known from Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp and the upcoming Thunderbolts), is now available to stream in the UK for the first time.

The movie features Lucien Laviscount (from Emily in Paris), Lewis Tan (Shadow and Bone), and Holt McCallany (Mindhunter). It’s about six federal agents who go into hiding at a top-security safe house after a terrorist attack.

Soon, suspicion and distrust take over, and the group starts to believe someone among them is a traitor. With no one knowing who it is, the atmosphere becomes increasingly tense.

You can now watch the movie on Sky or NOW Cinema if you have a subscription, in addition to being able to rent or buy it online.

NOW Cinema costs £9.99 a month. New customers might be able to try it for free, and current customers who don’t have a subscription could get a special discount.

The film went under the radar upon release, so there aren’t many reviews out there.

I checked out a review on The Action Elite, and they said the movie was pretty fun, even if it had a few moments where you could see what was coming. They gave it a 3 out of 5, so it sounds like a decent watch!

The review praises Safe House as a thrilling movie because it keeps you guessing about who the bad guys are and who to believe. It also highlights the exciting action sequences and praises Lewis Tan’s performance, suggesting he has the potential to become a major action star.

Even though Flick Feast gave the film a middling three-star review, they highlighted the action as being intense, fast-paced, brutal, and well-choreographed.

The film does a good job of building suspense by keeping its key plot points hidden. It throws out several misleading clues and twists to keep viewers guessing until the very end, where everything is finally revealed in a satisfying conclusion.

Safe House can be streamed via a Sky or NOW Cinema subscription.

The latest issue of Living Legends is out now, and it’s dedicated to the incredible Dolly Parton! You can find “Dolly at 80” in newsagents or online for only £8.99.
