Holly Ramsay reveals the important role her father Gordon had at her lavish wedding to Adam Peaty as she says the chef ‘couldn’t stop crying’

I was so excited to hear more about Holly Ramsay‘s wedding! It turns out her dad, Gordon, didn’t just walk her down the aisle – he actually took on another really important job to make her day special. It’s lovely to see how involved he was in helping her and Adam Peaty celebrate.

The celebrity chef’s 26-year-old daughter married Olympic swimmer Adam, 31, in a grand wedding ceremony last Saturday in Bath.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Apparently, Gordon didn’t just walk her down the aisle – which was already amazing, by the way – but he completely took over the food! Like, the whole menu, everything! I knew he was supportive, but this? This is next-level dedication. I’m honestly obsessed with how involved he was!

Okay, so I found out the most amazing thing! Apparently, my idol’s dad is a huge foodie and was totally hands-on with the menu! She actually said he worked with the Savoy Grill – can you believe it?! It’s like, a dream collaboration, and I’m obsessed with the fact that he was so involved. It just makes everything even more perfect, honestly.

The menu featured one of Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes: a classic beef Wellington served with carefully selected wines.

Later that night, Holly decided to get more involved with the food and made a spicy vodka pasta with fries for her guests.

Holly shared that Gordon Ramsay became very emotional in the weeks before the show, often breaking down in tears. It seems his usually stern exterior disappeared.

‘Dad cries every time I talk about the wedding,’ she said ahead of the big day.

Holly, the first of Gordon’s six children to marry, shared that she recently asked her father which car they would use to get to the wedding, and he instantly became emotional.

Lots of the Ramsay family came to the wedding, but Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark, weren’t there due to an ongoing family argument.

During her interview with British Vogue, Holly spoke up for her father, Gordon, and his speech, explaining that it made her feel incredibly happy.

Gordon reportedly made a comment about his wife, Tana, being a good mother to both children, which seemed like a pointed remark about Adam’s mother, Caroline. Caroline had been excluded from Holly’s pre-wedding celebration, and this caused a disagreement.

According to The Sun, Gordon Ramsay complimented his daughter Holly on how stunning she looked at her wedding and told her new husband, Adam, how fortunate he was. He also pointed to his wife, Tana, saying Adam could expect a similar happy future with Holly.

The article reported that Gordon made a hurtful comment to his daughter Holly, seemingly referencing Adam’s parents who weren’t present. He reportedly said, ‘It’s a shame you don’t have the same,’ implying a contrast between Holly’s family situation and Adam’s.

The photo showed someone listening to their dad’s speech and feeling touched by the joy and love radiating from everyone in the room.

Holly shared that her parents covered the costs of her and Adam’s lavish honeymoon in Mauritius, describing it as their gift for the wedding. This comment seemed to be directed at her distant relationship with the Peaty family.

We’re heading to Mauritius for a relaxing beach vacation – it’s the wedding gift my parents gave us. I had to explain to Adam that our honeymoon wouldn’t revolve around a huge pool, like the one he’d imagined.
