Katie Price ‘films scenes for daughter Princess Andre’s reality show after being banned from the first series’ amid feud with ex Peter

Sources say Katie Price recently filmed some segments for the next season of her daughter Princess Andre’s reality series.

Katie Price, 47, wasn’t featured in the first season of “The Princess Diaries,” which premiered on ITV last year. The show followed 18-year-old Princess as she started her career in the public spotlight.

I was really disappointed to see Katie wasn’t in the new series. It featured her family – Peter, Emily, and Junior – but apparently, Princess’ team asked them not to include her. She’d already explained she wasn’t able to participate due to that request, and it just wasn’t the same without her, honestly.

Although Princess filmed two more seasons with her brother Junior, reports indicate the dynamic behind the scenes has changed significantly.

According to a source, Katie is currently filming scenes for the next installment of The Princess Diaries.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m happy to share that Katie will still be a part of the show! It won’t be a full-time commitment, but you’ll definitely still see her – she won’t be disappearing from our screens completely.

She’ll be appearing in upcoming episodes through video calls with her daughter, like on FaceTime, to maintain a connection with viewers.

The source added that the move represented a clear reversal from last year. 

It’s a big change – Katie wasn’t allowed to be on the show before, but she’s very important to Princess and both of them really wanted her mother to be involved this time.

The Daily Mail reached out to ITV, as well as representatives for Princess Andre, Peter Andre, and Katie Price, for a statement.

The first season of The Princess Diaries focused on the teen’s life with her family, like Peter and her stepmother Emily. Katie only appeared as a voice in the show.

The show proved so popular with viewers that it was confirmed to have picked up two more seasons.

Peter and Emily are reportedly no longer participating in the next season, after receiving criticism from Katie.

According to sources at the Daily Mail, the influencer decided to take action after talking with her father, a 52-year-old pop star. He and Emily, 36, agreed to reduce their public presence to minimize attention on the fact that his ex-wife, Katie, wasn’t participating in the show.

Last August, after the show’s initial release, Katie publicly expressed her anger on her podcast about not being included in Princess’s first reality TV series.

She addressed concerns that her own public struggles – including past issues with drugs and alcohol, driving under the influence, and financial difficulties – were harming her daughter’s reputation.

Katie said: ‘I want the best for Junior and Princess, and I would never get in the way of it.

What really bothers me is watching your children grow up and being there for all their important moments – their school assemblies, holiday celebrations, award ceremonies, and sporting events. I put a lot of effort into being involved in everything they do.

Seeing Princess follow in my footsteps and pursue a similar career path fills me with joy. I truly love and support her ambitions.

I haven’t been able to participate in any photoshoots, autograph sessions, or store openings like Superdrug. I’ve been told I’m not permitted to and that my presence isn’t wanted.

This creates a difficult situation for Princess, as I don’t want her to feel pressured to choose between our relationship and her career. I truly want her to succeed.

I told Princess I want to be there for her, to support her the way my family supported me. As her mother, and knowing she’s following a similar path to mine, I’m incredibly proud and want to be a part of her journey.

The upcoming series will document the young star’s life as she pursues new business opportunities both internationally and back home, where she’s starting a major project in the beauty industry in Liverpool.
