A 911 call suggests Tommy Lee Jones’s daughter, Victoria, tragically died from a possible drug overdose in a San Francisco hotel.

I was absolutely heartbroken to hear about the details surrounding the emergency call when they found her. Apparently, according to audio I heard from Broadcastify, the paramedics were called with a ‘code 3’ – that means it was a serious, life-threatening situation – because she’d overdosed and was losing color. It happened at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on New Year’s Day, and it’s just devastating to think about. She was only 34.

A code 3 denotes an emergency that requires immediate action with flashing lights and sirens.

I still can’t believe it. It happened just before 3am, Pacific Time, on New Year’s Day. The emergency services rushed to his place, but… they couldn’t save him. They tried everything, but he was gone. Pronounced dead right there. It’s just… devastating.

Although the 911 call suggested a possible drug overdose, no drug-related items were found near her.

According to police, there was no evidence of injury or that someone else was involved in the death of Jones.

Investigators aren’t sharing any theories about how Jones died, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

The staff quickly noticed Victoria wasn’t responding, so they immediately began CPR and called 911.

According to a police spokesperson, officers responded to a hotel on Mason Street around 3:14 a.m. on January 1, 2026, after receiving a report of a death.

Victoria, the daughter of Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley (they were married from 1981 to 1996), began her acting career as a child.
