New MLBB Magic Wheel revamp revealed with massive changes

Discover the improvements to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Magic Wheel! This update brings exciting changes and new features – here’s what you need to know.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is updating its Magic Wheel system with significant changes that some players may not like. The update simplifies how the wheel works, but it also removes a free way to earn skins. This means it will take longer to collect points and unlock skins unless you get lucky.

Let’s take a look at the new Magic Wheel system in MLBB, what changed, and how it works.

Magic Wheel revamp in MLBB explained

The Magic Wheel revamp is now the live servers. The system has been completely overhauled with a new interface and prize distribution system. Here are some of the major changes you need to know:

Legend skins automatically unlock Trail Effects

Previously, unlocking special effects like Trails to go with a Legend skin was mostly a matter of chance. Now, after you get a Legend skin, you can earn extra cosmetics like Trails, custom in-game actions, and profile borders. This means you won’t have to spend extra Diamonds to completely customize how your Legend looks!

Players who previously unlocked Trail Effects from Legend Skins will receive 15 Magic Wheel Potions as compensation for each effect.

Crystal of Aurora removal

The recent Magic Wheel update has removed Aurora Crystals as a way to participate in the draw. This means you’ll have one less free option for getting those popular Legend skins in the redesigned Magic Wheel. Now, your only free way to try for skins is with the Magic Wheel Potion S, which is only available through special events or if you purchase premium bundles.

Magic Cores conversion

Previously, you earned Magic Cores randomly when using the Magic Wheel, which you could then trade for a Legend skin. Now, instead of random cores, the update introduces a point system. Every draw gives you one point, and collecting 200 points rewards you with an Arcane Star Core. You can then use this core to get a Legend skin from the Magic Wheel event shop.

Note: Unused Magic Cores in your account will convert into Progress Points at a 1:1 Ratio

Weekly Draw Rewards

The Magic Wheel now features a new reward system called Weekly Draw Rewards. You’ll earn bonuses as you play – things like New Arrival Tokens or Magic Wheel Potions – by hitting certain milestones. The available rewards change every week, and your progress resets at the same time, so there’s always something new to aim for.

Dynamic Portraits

Legend skins now have a cool new feature called Dynamic Portraits! These change the animations you see on the loading screen. You can get them for 800 Diamonds. Just keep in mind that skins won the recent Magic Wheel update won’t automatically include the Dynamic Portrait feature.

Is the MLBB Magic Wheel revamp good?

The recent changes are a bit of a mixed bag. While some players are getting these skins without paying, it’s becoming harder for free players. The Crystal of Aurora used to be a fairly easy currency to earn, but now it’s gone. That leaves the Magic Potion S as the only free way to get currency, and it’s rarely given away in events. Most events that offer this currency require players to spend money on things like skin raffles or bundles.

This update benefits players who use Diamonds on the Magic Wheel. Instead of getting a random number of Magic Cores with each spin, they’re now guaranteed to earn a Progress Point. This makes earning the 200 points needed for a Legendary Skin easier, though it still requires spending a significant amount of Diamonds.
