Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton shut down rumors about a possible breakup by sharing a passionate kiss while ringing in the New Year on Wednesday.
The singer, 56, addressed recent divorce rumors surrounding her and her husband on Instagram. She shared a post while they were celebrating the new year, 2026, seemingly to dispel speculation that began last year.
In a short video, the two were seen close together as they waited for the new year, with text at the bottom of the screen reading, ‘Last few hours of 2025’.
And when the clock struck midnight, the singers happily cheered while joined by other close pals.
Stefani was filming another video when she briefly looked at her husband, who then kissed her.
The country singer kissed her passionately as they celebrated the new year, gently cupping her face in his hands.

Shelton wore a black hat that said ‘Happy New Years 2026,’ and the No Doubt member chose a silver New Year’s headband.
Although the exact location is unknown, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani celebrated New Year’s Eve together, as Stefani mentioned briefly in a December interview.
During a recent interview on the Today show, the singer of ‘Hollaback Girl’ talked about their holiday travels.
Blake and I travel between Oklahoma and Los Angeles frequently. We’re heading back to Oklahoma this December, and then we’ll return to L.A.
Oh my gosh, you guys, she said they had Thanksgiving… twice! Can you believe it? She called it a blessing, and honestly, it just makes me love her even more. Two Thanksgivings! It’s like, the ultimate cozy, family vibe, and she’s living it! I’m so happy for her!
We’re going to keep this lively conversation going – I’m really enjoying it! And Oklahoma is just gorgeous this time of year.
Stefani is a mother to three sons: 19-year-old Kingston, 17-year-old Zuma, and 11-year-old Apollo. She shares them with her former husband, Gavin Rossdale.
After marrying Stefani in 2021, Shelton became the stepfather to her children. He had been married previously to Miranda Lambert.

Just before Christmas, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were spotted together in Los Angeles, making a quick trip to the Italian market, Eataly, to do some shopping.
Rumors of a breakup began swirling around the couple – who married in 2021 – after they skipped several major award shows last year.
I remember when Shelton released “Hangin’ On” back in March, and honestly, it caused a bit of a stir! He quickly clarified though, saying the song wasn’t about his relationship with Stefani at all – it had nothing to do with them, which was a relief to hear.
TMZ reported in December that the two celebrities were very confused by rumors about their breakup.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always hearing things, and let me tell you, Blake and Gwen are just as baffled about where these breakup rumors started as everyone else is! From what I understand, their relationship is doing wonderfully – they’re still very much together and happy.
Another source confirmed to People that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are doing well in their marriage, despite recent rumors about a possible divorce.
The rumors about a breakup aren’t true. They’ve simply been very busy lately. Whenever they’re together, it’s clear how strong their relationship is.
The Daily Mail contacted representatives for Stefani and Shelton for a statement, but didn’t receive one right away.

Both artists managed to release new albums despite having very busy schedules in 2025.
Last March, Stefani put out a special edition of her 2024 album, Bouquet. Two months after that, Shelton released his 13th studio album, For Recreational Use Only.
According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail last month, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are experiencing the normal ups and downs of a marriage after being together for almost five years.
According to a source close to the couple, things are going well – much better than some people are saying. They’re making a conscious effort to prioritize quality time and stay connected.
The pair have experienced ‘a few bumps in the road’ which was due to ‘their busy schedules.’

Stefani recently shared the most helpful advice she’s received since marrying Blake Shelton, saying it came back in April.
The singer advised viewers to rely on a higher power, likely God, saying, ‘The best advice is to make sure you have a third party,’ during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. She gestured upwards while giving the advice, suggesting she meant God.
She then gave insight into her lowkey date nights with the country star.
I’m completely relaxed – basically just hanging out on the couch with a blanket and some chips. The dogs are right there with us, and Blake’s on the other couch. It’s a cozy, casual vibe – we just say ‘hi’ and chill.
I just loved what Stefani said next! She joked that she’d happily sit with him, but he’s so tall, there’s simply no room for both of us anywhere! It was such a funny observation.

After finishing 2025, she and Shelton are both looking forward to a busy year, with concerts planned in Las Vegas.
No Doubt announced in October that they’re getting back together for a series of concerts at The Sphere in Las Vegas.
The band will perform six shows in May 2026, with another six added for June.
Blake Shelton will perform eight shows at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace this month, starting January 15th.
