Best Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet

1. Dragon’s Breath

Dragon’s Breath is a powerful attack in Where Winds Meet that focuses on a single target. Using it puts you in an Intoxicated state and lets you breathe fire empowered by Qi. The attack hits twice and causes Ignition, a burning effect that deals damage repeatedly over eight seconds, with each tick occurring every half-second.

Beyond its strong attack power, this ability also reduces damage taken and increases your resilience, letting you play more aggressively without being instantly defeated. As you improve the ability, it can build up to 10 times, significantly increasing how long enemies burn.

As a fan, I’m really excited about this Mystic Skill! It works amazingly well with Drunken Poet – you can keep stacking the bonus effects without having to re-do the drinking animation, which is awesome. And Tier 4 takes it even further, giving you up to 40% damage reduction! It basically turns Dragon’s Breath into a powerful attack and a way to protect yourself, which is a huge win.

2. Soaring Spin

Soaring Spin is a strong, quick attack that lets you close distance with enemies and prevent them from healing. It starts with a powerful, Qi-enhanced strike that damages everything in its path, then quickly transitions into a spinning motion that catches opponents by surprise.

Soaring Spin significantly reduces healing on enemies hit by 60%, which is especially powerful against durable opponents, healers, and characters that rely on staying alive. As you improve Soaring Spin, it becomes even more versatile.

Tier 3 adds a way to cancel an action, allowing experienced players to stop an animation to dodge attacks or move during combat. Tier 4 increases how far a dash travels, making it easier to attack from a distance or escape danger. Overall, this ability is effective at preventing opponents from recovering and putting them in difficult situations.

3. Golden Body

Golden Body appears to be a defensive ability, but it’s surprisingly effective for attacking too. When used, it creates a very strong, practically unbreakable shield, boosts your health recovery, reduces incoming damage, and helps you stay standing even after taking powerful blows. Basically, it lets you absorb a lot of punishment without getting knocked down.

This ability gets even stronger with its upgrades. At Tier 2, when your shields break, 50% of their remaining strength is converted into health, greatly increasing your survivability. Tier 3 adds a team benefit, granting shields to nearby allies with Golden Body, making it useful when playing with others. Finally, Tier 4 lowers the energy cost, allowing you to use it more often during fast-paced gameplay.

Golden Body is incredibly useful during challenging content like raids and boss fights, helping you stay alive so you can consistently deal damage. It’s especially strong when combined with powerful, but normally fragile, Martial Arts builds.

4. Guardian Palm

Guardian Palm is a powerful attack skill in Where Winds Meet, known for being flexible and dealing damage to a large area. It starts with a series of forward palm strikes and finishes with a slamming attack from above that pushes enemies away.

The skill is truly powerful when used from above. Casting it from higher ground unlocks stronger versions, like Lamp Light and Rite of Transcendence, which significantly boost its area-of-effect damage and ability to control enemies.

As Guardian Palm is improved, its area of effect grows, and it gains the ability to knock enemies down or launch them into the air. This makes it incredibly effective at clearing out groups of enemies, making it a great choice for dealing with large mobs.

Final Thoughts

In Where Winds Meet, Mystic Skills aren’t just for show. Choosing the right skills can significantly boost how much damage you deal, how well you survive, and how effective you are in everything you do. Don’t be afraid to try out different skill combinations as you get stronger!
