Eva Amurri, Susan Sarandon’s daughter, has shared that she’s finally comfortable with her body after undergoing breast reduction surgery.
As a longtime follower, I was really touched by Amurri’s recent post. She had breast reduction surgery last April – going from a 32F to a 32C – and shared some photos showing her journey. It was so inspiring to see her reflect on the past year and how this change has impacted her life.
In a post from January, she announced she was finally having breast reduction surgery – a decision she’d been considering for more than 20 years.
Just weeks after her surgery in May 2025, she proudly showed off her new figure in a bra. She explained that her breast reduction results were finally becoming noticeable, and the most difficult part of recovery was behind her. She felt like she was finally comfortable in her body, something she hadn’t felt since going through puberty, and was excited to start a new phase of her life.
She told Page Six at an April event for Connie Britton’s new show, The Motherhood, that she was incredibly happy.
‘I feel like they’ve never looked this good in my entire life — even when I was 18.’

Honestly, it’s been incredible finally feeling comfortable with who I am. I’m 40, and it feels amazing to look in the mirror and actually see myself as proportional for the first time. It’s such a freeing feeling!
Amurri announced she was having breast surgery in early April and celebrated with a cake that said ‘bye bye boobies’.
As a lifestyle expert, I often hear from people putting their own happiness on hold, and this story really resonated with me. This woman shared that she’d dreamed of this surgery for two decades, but fear of what others would think held her back. She admitted she’d actually convinced herself she shouldn’t need to feel completely at home in her own body, which is a surprisingly common thing we do to avoid facing our desires. It’s so empowering to see her finally prioritizing her own comfort and well-being.
Trolls went after her when she posted photos from her wedding to chef Ian Hock last year.
Amurri wore a revealing dress that highlighted her figure, but she faced harassment from online trolls.
She clapped back, noting that her ‘size 32F’ boobs [had been] minding their business.’
As someone who’s followed a lot of body transformations, I often hear from women about the realities of having a larger bust. This particular personality shared she was a 32F before her procedure, and she was very open about the fact that there are definitely upsides and downsides to having a fuller chest. It’s not always what it seems, and it’s great she’s talking about the whole picture!
Having very large breasts can impact a person’s well-being, both physically and emotionally. It can lead to feelings of self-consciousness and insecurity.

They strain your back, are difficult to dress, and, crucially, you can’t remove them for a rest.
‘That’s been the hardest part. Having huge boobs has been a blast at times!’
After becoming a mother, Eva noticed changes in her breast size, and they also began to lose some firmness and sag.
Turning forty earlier this year helped her understand that she’s capable of taking risks, and more importantly, that living life on her own terms and feeling comfortable in her own skin is what truly matters.
This surgery happens less than a year after Eva responded to criticism about the revealing wedding dress she wore in July 2024, which some found shocking.
The actress married chef Ian Hock after they got engaged in 2023. She was previously married to Kyle Martino for nine years, from 2011 to 2020, and they have three children together.
During the romantic ceremony, Eva wore a Kim Kassas wedding gown as well as a long, sheer veil.
I was so upset to see the cruel comments telling her to cover up, so I was really glad when she took to Instagram to share her thoughts and respond directly. It felt important that she addressed it herself.

Along with a wedding photo of herself and Ian, she wrote: ‘To anyone upset by the fact that I didn’t cover up my chest…’
Eva shared the same photo again, this time zooming in on her chest, and playfully wrote, ‘Go ahead and screenshot this,’ with a kiss emoji.
