Jules Neale appeared sad on Wednesday, seen at her home in Brisbane after news became public about the end of her marriage to Australian rules football player Lachie Neale.
A 35-year-old woman, previously known as a football player’s wife, was seen tearfully saying goodbye to a friend at her house on New Year’s Eve. She was also selling furniture on Facebook Marketplace, and movers were taking it away.
It was really touching to see Jules hugging a friend while she was letting go of some of her designer things. It felt like a sweet, genuine moment as she downsized and shared a bit of her life with someone close.
I was absolutely floored when I saw movers hauling all her gorgeous furniture – designer tables, chairs, even those amazing stools! – onto a trailer right outside her house. It’s that sleek, modern place with all the glass… it just screams change, and honestly, it feels like a huge upheaval in her life. I’m seriously worried – and completely obsessed with finding out what’s going on!
She was selling a variety of items, including a $300 teak root coffee table, a $150 wooden drawer set, $50 shelves from Bunnings, and a $100 filing cabinet. This showed she was clearing out both useful everyday items and more stylish furniture.
Jules was deep in thought, looking relaxed at home in a simple black tank top and white shorts.

Her long, blonde hair fell around her shoulders, and she wore only a delicate gold necklace. This gave her a calm, but slightly sad, look.
Jules quickly selling a lot of her belongings likely means she’s getting ready to start a new chapter after her split with Lachie.
In December, rumors surfaced suggesting trouble in her marriage to the Brisbane Lions player. Jules then hinted at a betrayal in a social media post.
Jules spent the Christmas holidays with family in Western Australia and has now returned to Brisbane.
Just a day after being seen packing up her car, the celebrity wife attempted to cheer herself up with a morning coffee on Tuesday.
Jules dressed casually for her outing, wearing a simple white tank top and frayed blue jean shorts.
Her Brisbane garage was overflowing with moving boxes, and a trailer stood outside, ready to haul them away.
People spotted her for the first time since news broke about her divorce, and it was clear she was in the process of moving – her car was packed with boxes on Monday. She appears understandably upset by the split.

Jules seemed anxious while shopping with her father at a Carindale, Queensland mall, and she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
Jules’ dad helped her put her large suitcases in the back of the SUV, which was already packed with moving boxes and stuffed animals wrapped in plastic.
The boxes were marked with ‘fragile’ labels and the logo of a removalist.
The woman at the heart of Lachie’s divorce, a former Mormon missionary, has surprised her traditionally private church by publicly engaging with the media attention surrounding the scandal.
Tess Crosley, a 29-year-old married mother, was spotted on Monday picking up belongings from her home in Brisbane. She wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
She’s reportedly staying with her parents at their home on the Gold Coast while controversy continues over her involvement in the breakup between Neale and his wife, Jules, who used to be close friends with her.
Instead of hiding her appearance, Ms. Crosley shared photos of herself in a bikini on Instagram, which surprised and upset many of the more religious members of her Church of Latter-day Saints.
Photos she posted on Christmas Day, considered overly suggestive, and taken during a luxurious getaway in the Byron Bay area, have upset some people with more traditional values.
Jules publicly criticized Tess last week, asking her to take down photos she posted on Instagram from the Brisbane Lions’ grand final celebration.
The post showcased photos from the grand final and the resulting celebrations of Brisbane’s consecutive premiership victories. It included pictures of Jules and Lachie on the field and in the locker room, celebrating with their friends.
Screenshots show a now-removed comment from Jules saying, ‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself.’
I was so shocked to hear Jules announce her marriage is over. It’s heartbreaking, and she’s been incredibly brave to speak out. It’s not what anyone expected – she didn’t say they were trying to fix things, but that she was deeply hurt and betrayed, which is just awful to hear.
She did not specify what that entailed.
She stated firmly that she wasn’t trying to overcome any personal issues. She explained she had been deeply hurt and was now focused on recovering and prioritizing her children’s well-being.
Shortly after releasing the statement, Jules removed all pictures of Lachie from her Instagram, effectively deleting over ten years of shared memories. It’s important to note that Tess is not suspected of any misconduct.
Neither party has made any public comment on the situation.
Jules and Lachie are parents to two children: Piper, who is four years old, and their son, Freddie, who was born in December 2024.
