Paul Mescal spent a cozy and relaxed Christmas at home in Ireland. His mother and sister shared photos of the celebrations on Instagram.

I was so happy to see the actor, who’s only 29, sharing a selfie with his whole family! It featured his mum, Dearbhla, his dad – also Paul, which is sweet – and his siblings, Donnacha and Nell. It really warmed my heart to see them all together.

His sister posted a photo of her brother relaxing on the sofa, and simply captioned it with a string of ‘x’s and ‘o’s.

Gracie Abrams, Paul’s girlfriend, left a sweet comment on the family’s Christmas post, writing ‘I love you.’ Nell responded to Gracie, saying ‘I love you more!’

Paul’s mother, Dearbhla, touched fans’ hearts by sharing a heartwarming photo of her family’s shoes.

She wrote a touching message, hoping everyone has packages delivered to their doorstep and things to put away, finding a place for everything.

May your wine rack be overflowing with extra bottles, and your fridge be happily full. I hope your table always has room for one more. Most of all, I hope you confidently fill every space you’re in.

Paul rarely discusses his personal life, but in September he shared a hint about how committed he is to Gracie, after they’d been dating for more than a year.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview and photoshoot, Paul shared his hopes for the future, saying he’d love to have children someday, though he’s not in a rush. He explained he’s open to starting a family when the time is right.

However, when directly asked about Gracie, the actor became more reserved, explaining he wants to protect his privacy as much as he can.

When asked about the moment he and Gracie decided to become a public couple, he admitted to the magazine, ‘I’m not sure how to answer that.’

I do have an answer, but it involves something very personal and important to me, and I’m hesitant to share it. I really want to safeguard those things.

People started speculating about a romance between them a year ago after they were seen on a cozy date at BRAT Restaurant in London.

I always say, a great way to really get to know someone is through shared experiences, and these two definitely seemed to be doing just that! They spent their first summer together hitting up a bunch of UK festivals, and were also seen enjoying some pretty low-key dates around London. It felt very natural and relaxed – a perfect way to build a connection.

In October 2024, Paul publicly supported his singer girlfriend by attending her concert in New York City, where he was seen enjoying the show and singing along.

A month later, Gracie showed her support by joining Paul on the red carpet for the premiere of Gladiator 2.
