TV personality reveals the one holiday destination that children should be BANNED from as she slams ‘gentle’ parents: ‘No consideration for others’

Sami Lukis flies to exotic locations all over the world as part of her job.

However, the TV personality and travel blogger firmly believes there’s one place kids shouldn’t visit.

This week, in her column for Nine Travel, the 55-year-old critic strongly disapproved of parents bringing very young children on health retreats.

‘It’s not so nice for the other health retreat guests,’ the Today show weather presenter explained.

Sami noted that the children were energetic, loud, and occasionally misbehaved, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere desired by guests at the health retreat.

She criticized parents who avoid strict discipline, suggesting they allow their children to behave however they please without teaching them to consider others.

She explained that some believe there are places that aren’t suitable for babies or young children, and that’s why disagreements happen.

Sami added that parents are welcome to bring their children to adult events, but they should try to keep them under control.

You’re welcome to treat your children to nice experiences like business class flights, concerts, or weddings, but that doesn’t mean you can disrupt or spoil those experiences for others around you.

I was so shocked to hear Sami talking about this on 9Honey! She shared that a gift someone gave her was so awful, it actually led to the end of their relationship. Can you believe it? It just goes to show how much thought – or lack thereof – can go into a present and how big of an impact it can have.

She told the website, ‘A boyfriend once gave me a vacuum cleaner.’

Revealing her reaction, the news reader said, ‘I promptly returned it and dumped him.’

The TV star once gave her fans some insight into her Christmas list in an Instagram Stories post.

She shared a meme jokingly suggesting her ideal gift would be a 14-night vacation to the Maldives instead of physical presents.

Lukis had shared her excitement about starting to date again once restrictions from the lockdowns in Sydney were over.

But she clarified that she’s not interested in dating men who are not vaccinated against Covid-19.

Sami once questioned whether it was polite to ask someone they were dating if they’d been vaccinated.

However, the Totally Wild host admitted that she enjoys being single and is comfortable on her own.

She told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I’ve always been pretty comfortable with my own company.’
