Maya Jama jokingly wished for her abdominal muscles to come back as she shared a photo from a tough workout on Instagram Monday.
After enjoying the holidays with her boyfriend, footballer Ruben Dias, 28, Love Island host Maya Jama, 30, has returned to her workout routine.
Maya proudly showed off her fit body, wearing a red sports bra and short black shorts after expressing her desire to get back in shape.
She captioned her Instagram Story: ‘Expecting my abs to re appear after 1 workout’.
Maya and Ruben celebrated their second Christmas together as a couple on Thursday, having been together for over a year.
Just before Christmas, the couple traveled to Paris by private jet. They spent the day at Disneyland Paris and then visited the Eiffel Tower.
She captioned her post: ‘A very merry Christmas ❤️ Sending you all love.’
The couple are said to be eyeing up a £4million Omaze prize-draw mansion in Cheshire.
The family was seen looking at the stylish new home in Alderley Edge, which Emily Ward originally won for just £25 with a raffle ticket.
This beautiful four-bedroom home offers 6,300 square feet of living space, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained gardens. It also includes a luxurious indoor leisure area.
According to a source, Ruben and Maya have visited the property three times now. They were there for around two hours on Wednesday, which suggests they’re seriously considering it – the house really seems to have made an impression on them.
‘Ruben arrived in his Lamborghini and Maya came separately in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes.’
The insider added that the couple looked ‘deep in thought’ as they left together.
The mansion can be rented for approximately £20,000 per month and is also for sale.
The couple is reportedly very happy and eager to buy a house together.
Reports suggest the couple first connected when the TV presenter attracted the attention of the Portuguese soccer player at the European Music Awards last November.
Their romance was finally confirmed at a Baller League event in April 2025.
Ruben recently opened up about his relationship with Maya for the first time.
When asked about media attention on their relationship, Ruben told The Telegraph he wasn’t worried at all, saying it’s the furthest thing from his mind.
‘We are just both aware of it, and there’s no way around it.
Ultimately, don’t focus on the issue itself. Concentrate on everything surrounding it, and then handle that extra layer carefully and intelligently.
